I see alot of the same clothes from wish on amazon. Would love to see someone buy the same item from both places to compair the difference in prices, quality, shipping.
I'm in the UK and I've bought some wish items from Amazon, they only carry certain things but it's roughly the same price, I've got Amazon prime so I don't pay shipping and it arrives either next day or in about a week.
And the fact that it was the best quality over everything else?! 🤯 deff gonna be looking in the children's section 😂 thank god I'm only 5 foot tall with a small torso 🙏🏻
I used to have a pair of pink camo pants, size 16 kids, that were definitely long enough, I wore a size 5 adult with a 33" inseam. Youth clothing sections can be a major win imo.
So, I started to check for children's apparel bc. Of my kid. So obviously I happened to land (even if mine is a toddler) in the teens section... Recently there was a - 80% sale on children's clothes... I ordered 176 and 164 for myself (boys and girls Fashion) and was super surprised that most of the stuff fit me (two were even too big!) and I kept alot of the stuff!!! And I am actually a EUR 38, or UK 10
I live near that big theme park and there is a thing called Disney-bounding (I hope I don't get flagged) Basically you pick a character and try to dress as them, but in normal clothes, because you can't wear "costumes" to the park. I bet Alex has so many clothes she could dress as a different character each day of week
Not sure if it has been said yet, but all these "fuller" dresses have a pettiskirt/petticoat layered under them to make them full. They are not this way on there own, unfortunately most places don't tell you this and the angles of the photos don't particularly show that there is anything under it. Love these vids though!
Right, but a lot of the dresses/skirts straight up don't have the same amount of fabric as the photo. If there isn't enough loose skirt fabric, a petticoat is just gonna look really weird.
Very true, petticoats are magical. However the dress with the birds looks like a full or three quarter circle skirt in the picture, but only a half circle skirt in real life, so it still wouldn't be as full even with a petticoat. The best way to see how full a skirt can get is to either hold it out as far as it can go on each side, or spin around in it.

Someone get this las a peti-coat coat so she cam see how the dresses suppose to look. 100% guarantee that in all pics of them vintage type dresses have a supper floofy one or maybe even a couple peti-coats on.
I agree that a petticoat would make it better, but it still wouldn't look like the dress from the picture. I'm pretty sure the wish seller just stole the dress design from someone who actually handcrafted the original dress.

For the "wedding dress" I feel like you should take some fabric dye and dye it a pastel color.. like a pastel yellow.. just take random white wish clothes and dye them pastel colors..
I wouldn't. It's really not an authentic style at all. It's like the fake idea of a renaissance dress. There are better dresses out there. Better yet, if you want to dress Authentic, but don't have any sewing skill, reach out to your Society For Creative Anachronism. They can hook you up with crafters who can custom craft a dress or outfit for you depending on your gender, the time period you are dressing for, as well as your class (commoner vs noble). It might be a bit pricey, but you'll pay for good quality custom made stuff anywhere. Many SCA groups also have "Loaner Garb" for people to wear so they feel awkward at an event that is free to borrow. .

It's literally explained by fashion designers that they don't want to mess up the aesthetic line of the female body. Basically a pocket would create a bulge if you put something in it so you can't look at that sexy sexy hip line....
I’ve watched this video many times and I don’t want to be *that* person but opaque means you *can’t* see through it. The opposite would be transparent or translucent meaning you can either totally or mostly see through something.
Opaque is still somewhat see through like you could “see” a persons silhouette through an opaque window or a dark/bright colour through it. So opaque fabric you’d be able to slightly “see” the colour or shape of undies through it but not actually see the undies. Transparent would be like mesh where you can clearly see through it
I love the stuff on wish, but most things on wish have so high shipping. I have ordered 1 time on wish and it al came within a month. I now have ordered 2 weeks ago, some Christmas sweater on AliExpress in the hope it will come within a month.😬 I love AliExpress now more than Wish because of the shipping.

So, when stuff from Wish shows up in one package with multiple small packages inside, that means they've shown up at customs, and customs has put them together in one package
@MiekoNeko - Yes customs is well aware of who/what Wish is. IF a large number of small packages all arrive at customs at once all going to the same address & FROM the same address that tends to get their attention as sending multiple small packages is something smugglers do. So yes, in that case customs would take them all aside to be check for contraband & then often will package them into one or two larger packages before sending them on thru the postal service. However...that’s not likely the case with the packages in this video. The REASON “rush delivery” is available for certain items on Wish is because they have large amounts of those items in their central shipping warehouses. However each item is gathered & packaged in much smaller sections of their warehousing system (these individually bagged) & then in the case of groups of rushed items when they all come up listed at the point of the shipping process where they are actually fixing to be mailed...they are packaged together to help the items arrive faster & all together. Of course...Wish can’t guarantee if customs will allow the package(s) through in a timely manner. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ Seeing as all of her items were clothing this time I dont know why customs would hold up those packages beyond the standard exam. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ Of course each package from Wish has to clear customs of the country its LEAVING & the country its shipper to. Both of which can delay it. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
@@roguewolf7053 none of which gives wish the right to charge the bs shipping charges as they have been operational long enough to be aware that this could happen PLUS lets not forget that with their high volume of parcels/postage sachets that they send out daily "shudders to think of how much" they would be getting a phuenominal discount in freight cost.. is one reason i try to buy free postage items and the ones i have got with free from other places i dont feel like they inflated the products pricing to cover any postage. The reason they can offer free shipping is because they r high volume users of freight/ postage and get the discounts. I know it happens as in business yrs ago now in small country town if i sent out a bulk amount of letters ie even invoices as little as 100 i could get a few cents off times that by thousand wish send out then they def ripping peeps off with express shipping. Also all those parcels would simple have run through a scanner and if anything looked suspicious thn they would look at it. If it didnt flag the system they would just run along the conveyors to the correct spot in the mail depot and onto herpost office or parcel delivery place. I would be interested to know if every parcel was addressed AND had shipping costs on it as legally thats something they r suppose to do

Plus noticed free shipping they add to the price of item. That's how thy do it. U can get lots of packages in one delivered to your home. They do that lots to my home. I like AliExpress cause things r cheaper. Customer service sucks and refunds are a pain but they have same items for cheaper then wish. And omg most things I have bought from wish for a dollar and two dollar shipping i have seen at our dollar store for a dollar. Makes me so irritated. I need to slow down shopping from wish cause it is way to much in cost.
it looks like there was a single customs label with all the items on each of the large packages, so they were probably actually all shipped from the same factory or distribution center, not opened by customs
i dont think customs does that the bags are all the same color so to speak it was definitely a way for wish to steal money form a person doing a express i think wish should credit alex some part of teh shipping . my observational details i seriously doubt customs carries the same bag as wish does for packaging and goes out of their way to print label for shipping

Well I've heard of people being scammed on AliExpress. You can't use PayPal for the most part so you have to put your credit card infos. Yes, the stuff on wish seems less good, but you can be fully refunded for everything
I love wearing scrunchies to I've worn them since I was like 12 years old. I actually learn how to crochet scrunchies around ponytail bands and made some of my own. @@pricesymonej I don't know all the correct terminology for the stitches but my aunt does not have to ask her what should you learn doing because I learned by watching instead of reading the patterns. And I don't have a pattern for the scrunchies I just didn't want for myself at first sonogram and it turned out so good that I continued making them. But I can give you the instructions on how to do it if you want just reply back and I'll get you the information I give you contact info. Also know I have not done a RU-vid tutorial I don't know if I can do that or not I don't have a RU-vid channel. But I'd be happy to share on how to make them they're fun to make they're easy to make and easy enough for teenagers are preteens to make them also for themselves or learn how to make them. @@NivionScribble I talked to my aunt and she told me the Stitch I was using as a double crochet. What I do is when you're doing a granny square you know how you have the circle of a chain that you attach it makes the circle and then you start going around it to make circle before the square?. Well that's how I do that I used the same technique as you throw around the the the chain to do the double crochet on instead of going into a circle that I just kept going around in a circle until I got it to be as big as I wanted. One thing that you have to be careful though of is that you don't make it smaller than the elastic can expand for the scrunchie. Usually what I do is I make sure I get a good hair band that's not going to stretch out and not go back and pull the crochet tight around it so it starts ruffling but not too tight cuz then you will out stretch the elastic band. And you just make it as roughly or scrunched up as you want or as Loose as you want I'll just keep going in a circle to be and how big is you want. I'm going to look into possibly doing a tutorial for it maybe for RU-vid but I have to wait a few weeks because I'm having some vision problems right now. But if you are interested in that just let me know and I will see if my brother on my aunt can help me do one. (Just turned 37 last Thursday) Even as a young kid I had issues with clothing being too short! Unless someone is lucky enough to be born in the *minority* of the population which fits into the median between “short” & “tall” lengths...you struggle. 😕😕 Combined there are more people in the short & tall category than in the “average height” category. Ultimately it’s the backwards, unrealistic clothing companies & fashion designers which are the issue for both of us. Despite the fact that the jeans she purchased from Wish were likely made for the Asian market, which are generally shorter in stature than most other areas of the world...*IF* women’s clothing companies should *just use actual measurements* to size clothing like they do for men’s clothing this wouldn’t be such an issue!!🤨🤨😒😒 But the clothing industry believes that if, heaven forbid, women had to actually face seeing their actual waist size & inseam length in numbers on clothing they would all fall into depression & shame.🙄🤦🏻♀️And of course most importantly for those selling clothes...they believe any company who did such a horrendous thing likely wouldn’t sell as many items as those who stuck to the current system. 😒😒🙄🙄 On the other hand...MOST clothing companies *STOP MAKING/DONT MAKE* clothing over size 16! With many of the higher end manufactures refusing to produce anything over a size 10! As if *that* wouldn’t send the vast majority of women into the aforementioned “depression & shame” if women were actually prone to that on such a massive scale. 🤨🤨 Its insane & completely backwards that people who require women’s clothing size 14 & above generally have to shop at specialty stores or at least smaller sections in stores *considering* the average women’s clothing size worn in the USA is 18/20 and 16 in the UK!!🤨🤨🙄🤦🏻♀️ *At least* if women’s waist size for garments was measured like men’s are...you know in *actual* standardized units of measurement...there would *not be such variation* in garments’ actual sizes between manufactures!! Same with the length of pants & other garments! 🤨🤨 I mean MOST companies who sell clothing via the intent (which is most companies at this point) *already list” what the measurements for *their* version of women’s size are! So why not just use those *verifiable* measurements as the actual sizes & save both the consumers & manufacture the headache & COST of items not fitting & having to be returned!?!? A woman’s size 10 is *supposed* to equal a waist size 28 in men’s or 28 inches (here in then USA)...if companies would either be forced to switch to that more standardized form of sizing or do so voluntarily & *also* begin measuring/clearly labeling the measurement of garments’ inseam...again as they do men’s clothing...then *BOTH* the taller & shorter than “average” consumers could KNOW if what they are purchasing should be the correct length!!! As well as the correct waist size! Of course...the consumer agencies in each country would need to enforce such standardization across the market so consumers could trust that a size 28 is the same across the board within a small margin of error. But I truly believe they *should* have been doing that for decades with our current sizing system! They have for *MEN*!!🤨🤨🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ Sorry....until my thyroid went haywire along with a couple other health issue which all caused me to gain a lot of weight rapidly I had the issue of being 6ft with shoes on, a size 3-5, with a long torso & long legs. Finding clothing has always been a nightmare. At my biggest I was wearing up to a size 22 in some brands. Which insanely was easier to find than the 14/16 I wear now! You know...very close to the *average size* of women in the USA & UK! Sure you can find loads of clothing in that size but even knowing my exact measurements & using sizing charts with measurements on them the actual sizes of clothing *STILL VARIES WILDLY!!* It’s just frustrating as hell. Again...sorry I went on a rant. My frustration IS NOT directed at you...I promise. 💕💕 I apologize if anything seemed that way.

& you're making me wanna get the tulle skirt, that one is AMAZING. I have a shorter black one that I have had for years and I've literally worn it from just hanging out to a funeral, its all in how you dress it, obviously. I used to wear mine most with bodysuits cuz they're so tight and stay in they look hella cute every time & tucked in oversized T-shirts are also a good option. I think an oversized vintage looking t-shirt with the one you have that has all the layers would be SOOO CUUUUTE.
