Hearing Omega with a higher quality mic is so fulfilling. Your voice has been iconic to me from the beginning and hearing it gives me a similar feeling as when I saw BT4's announcement. If you actually decide to keep making videos, I'd really appreciate hearing you a bit more. Also surprised no one's acknowledged the mic quality yet.

I actually talked to Turles' voice actor at a small ass convention in Texas and he actually confirmed that he did some voice work FOR turles in BT4 so look forward to THAT movie villain!
You know who I really want in BT4? Some _really_ out there picks. Give me Kami, King Kai, Bora, hell, maybe some of the more notable filler dudes too like Olibu and some Dragon Ball characters that get overlooked. Don't want ALL of those but I do want a few really off the wall characters.
I wasn't even 10 years old the last time I watched your channel and now here I am over a decade later watching your BT4 roster prediction. Its so surreal that this game is even happening.
Honestly, I want to see as many characters in this game as possible, and they should probably need to add giant characters in the game as well, because if they don't then the game will feel a little incomplete which will be a huge let down for this game. But that's how I think the roster for this game should be handled.

Man, I was just rewatching your old BT3 vids, and I didn't know you're back. I've literally been watching this channel for over ten years, when I was a kid. It's great to hear you're still into the series, and I'm excited for this game! This is great news!
On the topic of Frost, I have what is maybe a bit of a workaround: In Injustice 2, Netherrealm "added" Power Girl and Reverse Flash as alternate costumes for Supergirl and Flash, just with unique dialogue coded in. Since Frost is just Alternate Universe Frieza, right down to the moveset, and Frieza's alt costume is always just a recolour, they could just make Frost into Frieza's alt costume, and add in some unique voice lines for him.
I think them bringing back different variations of characters is still a good idea like Goku(Early)/(Mid) because all characters actually had a difference in rushing techniques, stats and usage. Expand on it with being able to select different B1/B2s and it will be perfect.
Yeah, but it's not entirely necessary. Raging Blast and Xenoverse do fine without it. And yes, I know in Xenoverse there are four other versions of Goku that fight uniquely, but Goku's variations all the way from Radditz to Goku Black fight exactly the same ignoring super attacks. I'd rather have two other unique characters than three repeats for Goku and Vegeta.
@@gengarvenom1180 Im thinking beyond simple super attack differences, xenoverse does a poor job at it anyway, what I mean is the specific rushing techniques assigned to characters like Flying Kicks or Kiai Cannon, each Goku including transformations were assigned different techniques and made each variation unique to them, it was very well thought out and flew over the average casual players head but most people in the competitive scene know this already. Feel like throwing all Goku's into one character anyway will throw off the balance. That's what Raging Blast did but RB removed a lot and I mean a LOT of specific techniques regarding combat to dumb the game down which ended up being poorly executed. That's why RB's base combo set looks relatively all the same between characters excluding cancel sets.
@@SonnyDha_B I understand you want differences on the level that they were at in BT3. Like The Vegeta's in fighterZ or SS4 Goku in Xenoverse, and I'm telling you there is no point. You can have the different fighting style associated with the transformations. For example, have Base Goku be more related to the Saiyan Saga, SS Goku for the Namek Saga, SS2 Saga for the Cell and Vegeta, and so on. You don't need 20 different Goku's for each era of his life. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it's not worth getting that if it means we lose out on other more unique characters.
@@gengarvenom1180 That will only make sense if you are able to customize rushing techniques for characters, it would be limiting character usage mainly because you can fit only so much, here's an example, Vegeta and Vegeta(Scouter), two characters with obvious different type of movesets and fighting style variations, SSJ Goku from Namek is no where near the same character as SSJ Goku from the Cell Saga, one has Angry Kamehameha as an ultimate while the other has Instant Transmission Kamehameha, yeah RB made IT Kamehameha a super attack but the point still stands you can only limit a character to what boundary you are going for. Will SSJ Goku be used past the Frieza Saga? Most likely. So it really depends what route they want to take off from. Another suggestion would be making use of UT's Action Type as an option for the Hero Mode customization they gave us but we'll see.
@@gengarvenom1180 We are also in a era where we don't really have to worry about character count and DLC overrided fighting games, so the options are limitless. Characters people most likely care for will be DLC anyway.
Maybe its because I have been playing a lot of BT3 Recently but, I would love to see some more weirder/Obscure characters return like King Cold and Freiza's soldier. Also Would love if great ape characters would return as well as giant characters.

I actually would prefer alot of Levels,with Different times of day for alot of Iconic settings like a Sunset/night time setting on Kami's Tower or Roshi's Island,Light shifting colors in the Time Chamber. As for characters I think this series should really go crazy with the funny/obscure characters like Monaka and Jaco from the Super,the Mummy guy and General Black from OG dragonball. Hell,imagine if they put every single fighter from the other universe in the TOP? As for forms,I want to see Beast Gohan and orange Piccolo,Ultra ego Vegeta.
I think the different times is kinda of wasted energy tbh. Not that it isn't cool, but each scenery rarely has more than one time of the day that is iconic, so yeah, pretty disposable concept.
Honestly the raging blast system of just using one character and being able to change the moves would just work more effectively rather than having different kinds of characters. We definitely need those OG dragon ball characters too tho
Considering the legacy of BT3, I DOUBT this won't make it in. Specially when "one character for all sagas" is very plausible too. Like, if there's one Future Trunks he HAS to have the original look, long haired and blue haired, right? There's no way they can miss that. Not as guaranteed, but I'd be SO HAPPY if they acknowledge the difference in art style, like they did with the fluffy Super Saiyan vs spiky Super Saiyan. Doesn't seem to be the case from the teaser, but oh well.
To cut down on the Gokus, I see them doing a Z version, DBZ version, GT version and kid version. The teaser showed gt content from bt3 so I want to be safe and assume GT content is in BT3. But yeah, they can easily do alternative costume choices.
I feel like Gamma 1 and 2, and very likely Cell Max IF Giant characters are included, are all shoo-in's. It's the most recent anime material after all. And I'm pretty sure they would include a little OG Dragonball, because I don't think they'll count on being able to sell it as DLC as much. So I think Roshi for sure, Tao, King Piccolo, Kid Goku and Yajirobe will be in the game at least. further grabs like General Blue, Pilaf Mech, Arale, etc. Are much more on the fence, but I think we'll get a nice little smattering of DB characters to begin with.
I truly do hope they bring back the giant characters, while I do agree it is less likely to happen; I'm still holding on to that little Ray of Hope that they will bring back Giants
I realize it’s unlikely since they’d obviously try to show off the Super characters, but I would like them to use some of the OG DB characters at some point, but balance them better this time. Tao, King Piccolo, General Blue, and Nam could be some nice fan service.
the kakarot DLC gives me hope of DB content in base game. imagine if the story mode started with training with turtle hermit for the 21st tenkaichi budokai! would be such a breath of fresh air instead of just more raditz level one.
I wish you can do the story mode in BT4 in almost any order. Example, want to start from Super? go ahead. Want to start from the android saga? go ahead.

Damn... So Nostalgic, Now I'm so hype, this DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 4 will be so Insane... Despite all the DBZ games that have come out over the years, BT1 has the most badass and authentic Intro of all of DBZ games of the Franchise. BT2 and BT3 in my opinion still remains the most Unique and the best DBZ games in terms of content, quality and fanservices. And from the gameplay perspective aspects, these DBZ games that I mentioned are very close to the anime itself because of the Vibe and Charm, I don't know how to describe it but it was, and still is the most Unique DBZ experience you could have with the combat factor. (- Sheer amount de of characters - Transformations mid-battle (powering up and down) - Fusions mid-battle - Fast gameplay that has that "woah" feel - Tons of extra content - Story mode covering all sagas + movies - What If sagas - Shenron having permanent impact on game (character unlocks and whatnot) - Great tournaments that rotate availability - Edit characters with items (buffs) - 5v5 battles - Really Great and Epic Soundtracks - Destroyable environments - Entire stages could be blown up into their "destroyed" alternatives - Mission 100 being a great challenge - Artwork is 10/10 - Sound effects are great - Combat feels heavy and satisfying) Only Budokai 3, Infinite World and the Raging Blast 1 and 2 and all of PSP DBZ games are still considered also very solid DBZ games, also the hidden gem that a lot of DBZ fans missed from PS2 Era of DBZ games is "Super Dragon Ball Z" which is also a real Unique and DBZ game, especially for the different gameplay aspects perspective. ✌☯️
On one hand in the age of DLC I can see the roster being gutted hard, on the other hand in the age of DLC I can see this game being updated for years if Xenoverse 2 and Fighterz is anything to go by. Also a blast from the past seeing a video from you, glad it sounds like you're doing alright.
12:35 My take on that'd be that all characters present in Budokai Tenkaichi 3 will be in the game at start + unlockable through Story Mode. Though future Super characters will most likely be DLC.
Nice to see you upload again, dude! I've enjoyed watching many of your older videos. I certainly hope the base-game of BT4 will have as many characters as the last one, if not several more to include Super.
The character I'd want most to see in Gold Freiza. While I like Dragon Ball FighterZ more overall, it REALLY dropped the ball when it came to Frieza's crazy powers and over-the-topness. I'd really like to see Tenkaichi take a crack at his new form.

People just love SSJ4, and Omega and Baby are also very popular villains all things considered. It would be a shame if they cut those. Even Xenoverse had GT in it's base game (at least the characters). I think GT Trunks (as costume for Z Trunks probably) and Pan, as well as Uub, Baby, Super 17 and Omega Shenron are most likely. I also think they might add GT Kid Goku as well.

I thought 50 characters to start out including forms would be a good start. Ranging from DB-GT, Movies and specials. Then the DLC would start rolling in after DB: Kid Goku, Kid Krillin, Bulma, Yamcha, Roshi, Tien, TaoPaiPai, General Blue, Daimao, Piccolo Jr Z: Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Cell arc Gohan, Future Trunks, Ginyu, Frieza, Fat Buu, Kid Buu, Cell Super: Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Gohan, Future Trunks, Golden Frieza, Hit, Goku Black, Jiren, Beerus GT: Goku, Pan, Trunks, Vegeta, Uub, Baby, Super 17, Nuova Shenron, Omega Shenron, Rildo Movies/Specials: Bardock, Android 21, Cooler, Broly, Janemba, DBS Broly, Gogeta, Gamma 1, Gamma 2, Cell Max
I could see them going absolutely crazy with characters and including more niche picks like Pikkon and Nail, but I could also see them seriously cutting back to focus on highly polished versions of the characters they do include. I think in the Xenoverse games, they completely cut out 2nd and 3rd form Frieza, which could happen here, too, although I'd rather it didn't. Honestly, you could probably do a whole separate video on how they're going to handle the many transformations and alternate versions of characters. It was bad enough before Super, but at this point, there are multiple characters who have more transformations than you could reasonably map to controller inputs.

As for the roster, I'm hopeful for something like a Raging Blast sized roster, removing what-if characters and the 3 or so movie characters to add some of what the left behind + 15 or so new characters from Super. So something like 60 characters without accounting for transformations.
