1. Kid Buu - fast, spammable, broken 2. Tapion - 2 bar super, charge ultimate works on big enemies, flute blocks all attacks for 1 stock 3. SSJ4 Gogeta - intentionally OP
@@ismapleitosreview8269 Have You Played Supersonic Warriors 2?The Boss Action Replay Hack Makes EVERYONE BROKEN,BUT ESPECIALLY SUPER SAIYAN GOKU,PERFECT CELL,AND BROLY!Here Is The Code:220D5150 00000003 221075E2 00000006!
We never alone in this world ... That's exactly how I felt. They are so brutal in a unique way I just loved to play them. The only op character I used in this game was SSJ 2 Gohan
SSJ2 Teen Gohan is #2 for me, so I was confused when you put him at #3. But LSSJ Broly is a great choice for the second spot. And I absolutely agree with SSJ4 Gogeta taking that number one spot. He's an absolute powerhouse
the buu saga was definitely the hardest in the story mode for me. the kid buu missions always caused me so many problems. Also, i think burter is an underrated character just based on his insane speed
fun fact, one of the most busted chracters is actually tenshinhan, you can build him to do something like 3 bars of life (basically instant KO) on demand multiples time in a fight, then there is devilman that is similar but only works on bad guys, still, extremely broken. Tapion has one if not the strongest defense in the whole game thanks to his magic flute ability, nappa has a certain build that beefs him up tremendously, gives him insane ki buildu-up or chrage speed and damage. Those are just some of the real broken characters that exist in that game
I remember that when i played i had a friend who kept spamming kikoho. He lose life when doing it but you can basically spam it if you know what you do. I guess maybe now i would just play teleporting Goku or something but at the time it was infuriating ahah
@@davidtomas9178 for tenshinhan you need 2 more health bars that cost 4 slots, then you add defence up OR super up that costs 2 slots and the last slot is an object that puts you at max power after a switch. So basically you have more life to spam ulti more, more defence to stay alive while waiting to switch out or more damage to kill more tanky characters and the last one lets you enter at max power so you can use your ultimate as early and as often as possible. Tapion just needs more health, faster energy charge as his health goes lower and less cooldown to use the special abilities (the magic flute barrier). Devilman needs mainly faster energy charge as he loses health, more damage from super attacks as health lowers and being at max power as he enters the battlefield. Nappa needs more health plus 3 buffs that are: more defence, super damage and charge speed as his leath is lower
I'm honestly surprised Omega Shenron didn't make this list at all. Sure he can't use Dragon Thunder on oversized opponents but his ki charge and ultimate make up for that in my opinion.
I always loved playing with him cause everytime you'd hit someone with dragon thunder, his muffled while saying it made it sound like he was screaming "Motherfucker!"
Let me hit you with a strat my guy. Second form Cell ALSO has the grab attack that steals life and ki from the enemy. So my advice is to start the battle as first form cell, chip away as much health from the enemy as possible, and then once you get damaged beyond the first bar of health, transform. Transforming as Cell always replenished about 50% of a health bar. Once you transform you can continue to spam the grab attack and your normal attacks will also be powered up thanks to being transformed. It's a win win. Matter of fact, it might just be better to start the battle as second form cell actually.
First form cell is so one dimensional with two charging ki attacks. I preferred starting out in 2nd form to have my favourite overall version, and then transform into Perfect against androids or giants who can't be drained or if I wanted to go full offense.
I mean, Tapion deserves more recognition...he was really fast and with a lot of combos that you could do...also his barrier and his insta charge for ultimate were also amazing tools in battle...Tapion, Kid buu and super 17 were my mains back in the day...XD
Same goes for all those units with the guard ability. You can't move them when you hit them and can be a pain in the ass for the duration. Tenkaichi 3 was so good with all the characters that they ALL have a tool able to let you win
My absolute favourite was Scouter Vegeta. Insanely fast combo, which lets you go to full power VERY fast, and his ultimate is unblockable by AI. Killed a 100 enemies on endless in an hour and a half once I found my groove.
Ultimate Gohan and Majin Vegeta had alot of speed and power with their rush techniques! Plus, Majin Vegeta's final Explosion was great if he got down to the last bar of health. Early Goku Spirit Bomb was unblockable if I remember correctly. And the androids were dope also, especially 17. Super Vegeta! Man I miss this game!
I really hope they allow all these moves, like teleporting behind your opponent, the beam struggles, the transformations during fights etc. in Tenkaichi 4
I think the online play era ruined somethings for fighting games, developers now are more focused on making characters balanced than making then equal to their anime versions.
Surprised goku (mid) isn’t anywhere here, his r2 up circle is a ridiculous buff that buff everything, he has a rush and a kamehameha that doesn’t need charging, both specials of which look amazing, and he can transform into ssj who also has some amazing specials, my main for as long as ive been playing this game
This was also my main because he could pull off almost infinite combos with stuns in base. You then use his rush attack which puts the opponent on the ground and gives you enough time to go ssj and throw angry kamehamehas
@@GamesMarotos yep, 2.5, I'd transform into ssj as soon as possible, bide time with a mix of rushes and just standard punching till i get all 6 blast stocks and they were under 2.5 bars left, use "now i'm mad!" for instant max ki, revert to base form, "give me energy" and wreck em with a spirit bomb
Competitive tenkaichi 3 tournaments still happen and the meta is currently populated by chiaotzu due to his small hit box and fast projectiles. Plus his telekinesis stun ability is very good for catching the opponent and comboing into big damage
@@prajyothk5858 look up PaigeBT3. This top ten list is one the better ones but it's very wrong. Broly is the clear #1 and teen Gohan and goku are not top tier at all.
Yeah. Nobody mentions about small characters like kid goku ,goten or any other that normal/big easily miss during combos. Specially kid goku who can't fly so he slowly fall in air during getting hited
I think the best character in this game was Yajirobe. He wasn't the strongest in damage, but Sensu bean is broken. As long as you were good enough to survive for a while, just super attack the enemy away and sensu bean. You're now back to full health. Also to a lesser degree, because he can't fly, he's always falling in the air. Which actually is kinda funny because the game does not seem set up for that assumption, so there are many beam attacks that he would just dodge automatically because the other character aimed for where he was in the air, and he'd just fall away from it.
My brother and I would fight 5v5 in this game all the time. My team had broly, super 17, vegito, fasha/selipa and I'd change the last one regularly. My brother would use cell, frieza, ssj4 gogeta, super trunks and super namek piccolo. We would be really even and it was so much fun!
Hear me out Tien AND chiaoutzou should of got an honorable mention Tien has arguably the best Ultimate in the game that can delete any character Chiaotzou has extremely fast spammable combos and can easily infinite you if you aren't careful
sorry chiaoutzou is trash, expecially moveset wise. Tien is imo, the best character in the game IF you are playing with a team of 2 or more i was pretty good at the game and found out many interesting things that can happen, like more than once i managed to create an instant kamehameha without using goku ult
Super 17 was awesome with his rapid bullet thingy and when you use a full power ki blast and they reflect it back at you simply absorb it and you get even more ki than used to shoot
For those who are involved in the competitive scene in Europe, top tier threats actually include the likes of Future Trunks (long hair), Android 17 (not super), Adult Gohan and rarely include GT characters as S-tier picks. I personally think characters like SSJ 4 Goku and Vegeta are slightly flawed, since they control and charge slower than other stronger fighters. IMO (which is supported by the competitive scenes results), SSJ Trunks (has the best aggresion) and Broly (for reasons described in the video) are probably the best characters you could choose. 17 and Kid Buu can loop forever, thanks to auto charging/fast charging plus their godly kits. Also, Perfect Cell is regarded as better character than Super Perfect, due to better (and cheaper) utility and faster death beam. Fighters such as Teen Gohan and SSJ2 Baby are generally not considered to be S tier.
Really enjoy your videos! I noticed English isn’t your first language because of the text in game and your accent. You’re doing a great job learning this complex language, and I appreciate you bringing videos to us in English! Just one small note, on the outro, instead of saying “I’ll be watching you in the next video” say “I’ll see you in the next video” the words mean kind of the same thing but In this context they’re different. Keep it up man!👍🏾
I completelly agree, I remember when I won in a bet with a friend that said I couldn't beat Gogeta SSJ4 with Mr. Satan in hard. I recommend it, it is really funny
great video! Competitvely broly is #1 along with perfect form cell and trunks as well. tbh competetive bt3 is centered around teams so you have characters best in different categories.
I remember when I played this in my childhood and I loved Super 17, I was just satisfied by doing nothing, launching Ki balls and supers while my power regenerate automatically, and also.. absorbing any ultimates the enemies may do lol it was super perfect
I think Burter is super underrated, he's like a slower ssj4 gogeta but does way more hits per square button click. He can up circle to max power, his power ball is a "cutscene" move so it's easier to land than a normal kamehameha, his up triangle sets you up to do more combos on the opponent at the end just beautifully and of course his ultimate allows you to see Jeice's glorious mane without needing to play as him
He's buggy as hell, because alot of his attack whiffs even on normal sized characters, but there's an os that fix this on emulation. Been playing him since day 1
I remember giving my opponents nightmares by constantly spamming Kid Buu’s rush attack. It always worked and my opponent’s hated it. Looking back, it’s probably the best rush attack in the entire game. The top 5 in this list were really broken beyond repair.
Yeah Magic combination was bullshit because its an unblockable rush attack. So you can only hit him with a super which is easily dodgeable because he can move during the rush, counter with a rush attack yourself or use a barrier. You were super limited
@@sikerimlidl Agreed. Mystic Combination was the name and it was toxic lmao. It also doesn’t help that it’s one of the fastest rush attacks so you have less time to properly react on top of all the other broken shit it has. Kid Buu is also a melee machine and his combos are absolutely crazy. And planet burst was also really good. Very big and it tracked if I remember correctly.
The gameplay, characters, features, combo, ultimates, even ki blast variations of almost each character are wonderful and already perfect in this game, but if it got remake animation and graphic that will be dream comes true for me
I don't think BT2 had online play, so making a tier list for that game might be tough, but I specifically remember Mr.Satan being broken at least for BT2 single player, because his present attack made him invincible, and it triggered automatically at close range. In BT3 I think they just removed the invincibility unfortunately.
1:55 and the Dragon Fist is one of the few "combo special attacks" (I don't know how they are named) that can be done on a Giant character like big apes or Hildegarn
Some characters I liked using that u didn't mention: first off, Yajirobe is not a chump. if you have flight added to him, he is a beast when used correctly. 2 ki special that is crazy fast and effective, and he has a target lock ultimate charge. MOST IMPORTANTLY, he has the Senzu bean ability which allows him to heal to full health. He might be the best unit besides kid Buu or Arale (or simply overpowered units like SSJ4 Gogeta) for long-form content like survival mode because of his healing. Chauzu (nimble) Tien (great combos) both of these 2 lack good ultimates though, wasting life energy but their regular triangle + down is 2 ki and works like a charm. Vegeta (EARLY) - His charges are nice, ultimate has target lock, and has crazy dmg. Nice combos too Piccolo (END) is another crazy character, and if you play tactically correct with his ultimate, the damage is devastating (+ special beam cannon as a regular super is crazy good). combos also amazing Bardock (nice strong overall unit) Tapion (low ki beast) Arale (offensive menace, and crazy healing) FF Janemba (Ki blasts unblockable, and can throw a lot at once if times correctly; very strong character otherwise) Majin Vegeta Future Gohan tell me if i missed anything, or if you want to argue against one of them
Burter is easily top 10. Easiest stuns of anyone's life and ginyu pose is one of the better uses for gauge in the game. he also gets max power manual teleports instead of dashes.
I think the tier list is pretty on point. I'd change a couple os spots but at some point is completely personal. Like, a lot of poeple would say that Broly having super armor is not the big deal as most more competitive characters can pierce through it, but at the same time it disable a lot of good characters like trunks. I'd say Gogeta SSJ4, Kid Bu and maybe Super Android 17 or Vegeta are the most aggresive units and the fact that they have pretty much everything: fast paced attacks, combo variety, good specials, good stats; makes them prob the best characters. But tbh most well versed players will have their timing learned and that means they will know how to counter them. If we put items into the equation the utility of other characters will make both bu and gogeta not as good as they usually are. For me, I personally like using weird-timed-attack and high-utility characters.
Me and my friends coined the term "Broly Body" when referring to stun resistance. I main dr. Gero who with just 1 blast stock can use false courage which gives him "Broly Body". It's actually pretty broken considering you can false courage, rush opp, stun, grapple which then steals ki and life and then follow it up with his ultimate life drain which steals a bunch of health. Also, Tien not topping this list is actually blasphemy due to him basically being able to take down a fighter from full health to zero with one move.
My Team always Had Cell or Freezer to heal while transforming and Freezer Final Form and Perfect form Cell were quite good, Broly, Super 17, Omega Shenglon and then a character I felt like using, my stepbrother ALWAYS had Teen SSJ2 Gohan, Kid Buu and Gogeta, and used to have also GokuSSj for the ultimate, just so many memories:)
If you like healing you shouldn’t ever evolve cell past his second form. His throw and drain life cell both steal lots of HP once you get to cell perfect form you lose the ability to heal via his move set
Great Ape Baby is pretty solid IMO. Most of the cast needs charged attacks to make him flinch and most rush moves don't work. But unlike most giant characters he's surprisingly mobile and has good supers
another note on teen gohan ssj2's kamehameha. it also comes out faster than other non charging beams, so that makes it the best beam based super/ult in the game in terms of utility.
Stage 2 cell is underated. He was my main, so I'm prob a little biased, lol. He's got a 3 bar following rush that heals and a 2 bar spamable big bang attack type move. No need for ult since it isn't great, but instead, you use that time to pressure the opponent. Got android barrier and a throw that heals as well. And since you don't use you're ult, you'll easily have enough bar to transform twice, which both heal as well. Really excited for 4!
I liked multihit super attacks a lot, so my fav char. were Majuub for his homing ultimate, Super 17 for his gattling gun super and he could absord ki plus he was relatively fast too, I also adored SSJ4 Gogeta - a universal fav
He may not be top tier but Supreme Kai is one of my favorites to play as well as Bardock. Playing as a fully upgraded Bardock just feels really cool. I imagine a crazed smile on his blood splattered face as he takes on increasingly overpowered opponents akin to the doom slayer
I have some others in my list too Normal Vegito is one of my favorites because the moveset is versatile also teen gohan SSJ2 Tapion: 2 bar super and ultimate that affects big enemies. And the list on the video
I'm pretty sure when they made SSJ4 Gogeta in Fighterz they intentionally gave him an instakill Big Bang Kamehameha x100 to reference how much broken he was in the older games, especially tenkaichi (and now he can be broken in fighterz too lol)
Competitively (yes, there still exist a small competitive scene for Tenkaichi games), best seems to be : Adult Gohan with Explosive Madan Teen Gohan with Explosive Madan C-17 Trunks Armor base form Cell 3rd from LSSJ Broly Great Ape Baby Gogeta SSj4
Tbh they’re all good when I was playing especially when I was younger it all felt the same it felt whoever had the faster reaction and who thought out more steps
you should have put ssj grade 3 trunks too, it's really good because you start with 2 ki bar directly and you can get out of the useless transformation at the start while preserving the ki bars.
Solid list bro! For a moment there I thought you might have left off SSJ4 Gogeta just because of how intentionally broken he is. My buddies and I had a typically accepted agreement not to pick him just because of how ridiculous he was. If I were to make a top 10 list, omitting SSJ4 Gogeta, it would be as follows: #10. SSJ Gogeta - Purely asthetic, one of my favorite characters, I just love his style. #9. Super 17 - you laid it out pretty good, the ki absorption was pretty hot. Decent combos #8. SSJ Trunks - Also more of an aesthetic choice, but his combos flowed really nicely and I loved the Heat Dome Attack! #7. SSJ4 Goku - all the reasons you listed #6. Semi Perfect Cell - This was my ultimate troll character! You mentioned Perfect Cell, and I get it. But Semi perfect Cell was just a bastard if you used him right. A little on the slow side with his combos. But both his throw attack and his second Super attack stabbed the opponent with his tail inflicting damage on your enemy and healing yourself. And the throw ends with him knocking you away setting up an opening for a super attack. My friends hated when I picked him 😂 #5. Burter - The attention to detail in combat was what made the Budokai Tenkaichi series so wonderful. And they really embraced Burter as the “fastest in the universe.” If you just tapped box, this dude’s basic combo was like 20 hits. They didn’t hit very hard of course, but by mixing in your directional triangle attacks, you could keep a combo going for AGES if your opponent didn’t have explosive wave or some other counter. #4. Android 18 - Some of the best combos in the entire game. Box, triangle and box, box, triangle were both the chargeable gut punch that would leave anyone vulnerable and you were INvulnerable while charging it. And as an android, she couldn’t charge her ki, it built up over time and by landing hits, which encouraged aggressiveness. Constantly pushing up close and not giving opponents a moment to breathe. You did not want to get close range with me playing Android 18. #3 LSSJ Broly - You pretty much nailed it with Broly he was a total beast. My favorite was his Up Triangle Super, the grapple technique, you showed it in your video. It was so funny to interrupt an opponent’s tracking rush attack with this because there’s a moment of complete flinch invulnerability right before it connects, so it was the perfect counter. #2. SSJ2 Teen Gohan - What more needs said? Super Kamehameha that doesn’t need charged, tracking rapid fire ki shot, unblockable ultimate, and his combos were SILKY smooth. #1. Kid Buu - That ball combination super was absolutely broken. The RANGE you could travel after activating that was completely hacked, not to mention the maneuverability. I could spiral around an opponents beam attack and hit them from behind if there was enough time. And it bled perfectly into the sleep function that you mentioned. You hit an enemy with that, the flying kick at the end sends them WAY up, out and down, you activate sleep the moment the attack ends and they start flying, and you wake up before they get to their feet. 100% broken, absolute menace.
I would change ssj4 Goku for Vegeta Majin or Vegeta ss4 due too he is so simple to play and fast. Aggressive and even if it had less combinations for combos the one he had where powerful. Straight, aggressive, simple character.
In my opinion 18 is not that good and it's defeatable, just for fun I would put Arale. Just focus the fight in combos, not letting opponent breath and avoid powers. I used her against Gogeta Broly , only it doesn't work is against buu but he is op
@@joshuatapia8488 anybody in the game is defeatable if you know what you’re doing. 18 is just a personal choice for me. I loved her melee attacks and the fact that because you never had to charge your Ki, you could just constantly and aggressively push for close range combat and not give your opponents a chance to breathe.
Idk if it was jus me but arale was a menace in this game as well. In the story or in jus a regular arcade match when I’d put the difficulty she’d drag my ass if I let up
Granted its been over a decade since I played the game but I remember Burter being a monster to deal with because he was just so damn fast, didn't matter who my friends picked I would always be able to get the first hit in and demolish them. Though were were dumb kids who really only buttoned mashed so maybe some actually skill would change it up.
Yajirobe deserved at least an honorable mention. Of course his actual level of power isn't great but he DOES have an unblockable move as well as the cheapest move in the game with the senzu bean that brings you back to full health.
I myself used kid trunks a lott by sparing 1vs5 character with a lott of bar health He is fast ,small able to dodge some attacks because of his small hitbox ,a pretty good rush attack and range ,great ultimate when it comes to combo dmg and he could be a nightmare against if he gets u in a combo , because as a soon u wake up he got u on second combo already without even spending a sec ,its kinda broken and buggy . But definitely the 1v5 matches (ai was on the hardest level and with a lott of halth bar to handle when kid trunks has only 2 bars ) made me master this moster of character and beat their shitt eveytime ,u will have to use the game mechanics in ur side a lott hoping that the ai wont grab and combo u because that would be crucial on
Kid Buu , Burter , Omega Shenron , Gohan SSJ2 and Perfect Cell were the 5 Team i always choose , Burter and Buu were crazy fast and Shenron was the toughest. Burter the most underrated.
Didn’t think I would genuinely play an OG Dragon Ball character to beat high difficulty tournaments But then I started to main Arale and my eyes are now opened. I also play Pikkon and I wouldn’t be shocked if he was at least top 20.
One of the things that humors me about this game is that if you look at tier list it's exactly what you expect it to be. Normally fighting game tier lists don't really apply to you and sometimes don't even make sense unless you play in a competitive way religiously but you already know what you're going to see when you open a tier list for this game lmao.
Super Vegeta and Freiza deserves to be in the list , the first got a very powerful Ultimate , while the second many forms makes him one amazing versatile character
It's an old video I know, but I don't really have a top 10 so much as I do a top 1. #1 for sure is Super Gogeta though, pretty much a no contest in my opinion. He has very high damage in every type of offense (melee, ki blasts, supers...), a perfect set of combo tools (flying kick, kiai cannon, heavy finish, rolling hammer, no repeat moves for best combo potential), and the real reason he's #1 is a unique finish sign. Normally when a character uses finish sign, it takes 2 blast stock and gives you +25% attack and super indefinitely or until you use a super/ultimate. For Super Gogeta only, his finish sign is 1 blast stock for some reason and can stack up to TWO times. Finish sign cannot stack normally, but Super Gogeta's can.... giving him up to a massive +50% attack and super! (Do a melee combo, and end it off with a 24k damage ultimate and it's 💀for anyone.)
1) Cell second form. “Drain life cell” is a rush move that steals an entire bar of health and 3 bars of Ki from the enemy and gives them back to you so you can perpetually heal and stay alive. Easily the most broken move in the entire game. Not to mention if you get bored of that cell still has 2 further transformations which replenish a full bar of HP each. Also there is a true combo for 2nd form Cell: Grab/throw (steals life and ki) -> drain life cell (steals even more health and ki) -> kamehameha (blast 1 guaranteed hit after drain life cell)
my top 3 go to were Teen Gohan, Broly, and ssj4 Gogeta. Ssj Saiyan armor Trunks would be the 4th bc i remember his combos speeding up after a heavy hit and id always like the speed boost it had.
for your interest, there is a competitive community for BT3 and you would be surprised to find out which characters are actually OP in the competitive point of view
just a spoiler: super trunks is considered very good because it starts with full energy, so as soon as game starts you can go back to normal so you are going to be normal trunks (which is one of the most op characters by the move set) but with full energy
i remember picking gogeta vs mission 100 in dbz BT3 and the characters with 2hp bars(appule etc) would simply die to a melee combo just because ssj4 gogeta strikes SO fast while dealing MASSIVE dmg.
Such a nostalgia trip this was my shit back in the ps2 era. I always pick goten cuz my brother will pick some op characters victory is so much better when I beat him with weak characters lol
I dont mean to nerd out but youd want to add buff trunks to the list. Hes starts with 1 extra bar than everyone else and can deform to keep all the perks. On top of having a solid kit this allows him to instantly have a super move to counter any pull up. He will win first trade
For me, Semi Perfect Cell was a good fighter, his grab and rush move heals you unless you're an android, he has a standard special in the Big Bang attack and his ultimate is a nuke, though I prefer to absorb 18 for more health and for Perfect Cell's fighting style. Not the best but is a very good stall if played right. Especially since, from what I recall, if you absorb life/energy when your opponent is maxed, they fall out of it. Though I could be misremembering.
