I remember going to his house.. he was quite the audiophile. About 10 feet of albums. ( we sometimes go by how tall in feet our stack of albums are) he had every Wishbone Ash album there was.. i miss him..
Saw them live in Brassy's on Cocoa Beach 1980-81. They played most of Argus and all of my favorites, audience requests as well - pure magic. I didn't want the show to end. Amazing live talent.
WISHBONE ASH "ARGUS" was a great Album! Where every song was a smash hit as far as i was concerned! My oldest brother bought me this album for Xmas in 1972 , who i had never heard of until then. One song later i was hooked and still am today, and love every tune on that album. They became a huge success after the release of there Double Live Album that came out in 1974-75 .... I swear literally every one i knew or met had the Live album! Thanks Wishbone Ash for all the great times and memories God Bless
Yes, you're so right; everyone had the live album. Time was has always been my favourite Wishbone Ash song. I think its got to be the brilliant way the guitars create such wonderful changes in tempo.

Saw two of their concerts in Chennai in the early 80s with Trevor Bolder on bass,Steve Upton on drums and Laurie Wisefield on guitar and off course Andy Powell .This was one of the songs they did and they had the Chennai crowds mesmerized ,truly a great live performance band.

Saw them a few years ago at a 100 seat bar in St. Pete. Fl. One of the best experiences of my life. I've loved them from the first time I heard the 1st album in 70.
I saw them last year they were fantastic Andy Powell what a great guitar player. I own at least 23 of their and they're all great my favorite. Is the Laurie Weiss field.. I'm about 76 to the early 80s
I remember seeing these guys playing at Stockport Polytechnic back in 71 or 72. My mate was related to Andy Powell and somehow got a whole bunch of got tickets. Great concert! Everyone was high and the cops didn't really give a toss. Good times......good times!!
Interesting lesson in the use of cymbals in the beginning, using the sticks with pluche, using them vertically, using them in such a way not to break the edges etc.

Great upload. But my opinion still is: Wishbone Ash is not Wishbone Ash without Martin, Ted, Laurie or/and Steve. This is Andyś Wishbone, but Wishbone Ash are gone since years. Andy please get your mates back in the band !
