In-ear monitoring is a way for musicians to be able to hear each other so they can notice things like their instruments not being in tune with the rest of the band. It is particularly important for singers who rely heavily on hearing their voice and at least one guitar to work out if they are singing in tune. Witch Fever are a great band, they don't deserve to be recorded like this, let alone under the flag of the BBC who should know how to record a band.
