This video from witchdoctors.com shows you how to remove the front fairing on a Victory Cross Country. You would need to do this to work on the stereo, triple trees or replace the handlebars.
I just installed a biketronics amp, 6.5 inch fairing speakers and some kickers in the rear on my CCT and after watching the starting portion of your fairing removal - had the fairing and winshield off in literally less than 15 minutes! That was taking my time and checking the video a couple of times soooo great video and thank you. Buttoned it up almost as quick!
I wish I had watched this before I tried to take my faring off. I was making a couple of big mistakes. This makes my life easy. Thanks for taking the time to make this video.
Hi there! Where can I see your tutorial about changing the handlebar? Its clear about the fairing removal, so in ready for the next step, please help. Thanks
If you go to an electrical supply house they have rolls of tape with all the letters of the alphabet or numbers 0 to 9 printed on them for identifying wiring. These rolls are about 1/4" wide and they come all mounted on a communal holder for easy dispensing. You then number your wiring with say A4 to A4. B6 to B6. CC to CC. Most of the connectors on a Victory are pretty much idiot proofed as to what they connect to.
Poor customer service, high prices and the last company you want to buy from. Was just looking to upgrade my Vic speakers, they were the highest price, when they were told. rather than adjust they encouraged me to buy elsewhere, SO I DID, THANKS FOR THE ENCOURAGMENT. WD, just say NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HDVICTORY ford -----> I bought a set of the Witch Doctor , billet end tips and they cost me two and half times more than the Vic Bagger, billet end tips that were almost identical. No more Witch Doctor parts for me ever!
