The fight against Imlerith, one of the Wild Hunt generals in Witcher 3 (Bald Mountain Quest) on death march difficulty.
The fight has 2 phases - in the first, he uses a shield with his mace, in the second he drops the shield and two hands the mace. For the first phase, simply wait for him to attack, dodge, and then get a few hits in.
For the second phase, you can either wait until he gets tired or attack him right during his teleport attack.

If I load a previous save wont i have to restart the whole ciri fighting the crones???

Hey im stuck on this fight im level 23 with all the bombs but i dont have the swallow potion or the wyvern concoction it wont let me exit this part and the bombs dont seem to do him alot of damage ive tried the lightning strikes they dont seem to do much either :(. Is it possible to kill him with just igni and bombs and the avoid and hit technique with only level 23 i only have the red potions to restore health no food or do i need to go back to an earlier save and get my level up alot higher as i cant seem to kill him ?.

Richard Bentley You're better off going to an earlier save. Though it's possible to defeat him provided you've the right timing on your dodge/roll, it'll be a pain in the ass and will probably take way too long.

Richard Bentley If you have the quen upgrade to restore your health, use it with tawny oil and don't worry. It's rather easy to beat him with just the sword. In the first phase, his shield in his right hand can be used against him. dodge using the alt button to his left when he tries to attack you and hit him twice before dodging again and repeating it till he changes his moves. It shouldn't take too long based on your sword's strength before he drops the shield and then it just dodging and hitting him when he's tired.
