making good progress Ryan. A thought on the front of the seat loop ends, you could cut the ends at an angle to suit the frame so it kinda wraps around the tube which would make it easier to weld to the frame if that's what you are going to do. It would also add strength. keep up the good work and you have inspired me to get on and finish my Superdream.

Thanks Neil, I think you are describing what I have in mind. I'm just not yet sure how to achieve it.

A 22mm plumbers pipe bending spring inside the tube may have helped reduce the kinks and give a softer bend but otherwise looks ok.

Thank you, I am aware of the bending spring used by plumbers, but didn't have one to hand. I don't feel the kink should be too much of an issue, and won't it be obviously visible.

Well done! Rember you can just use a lashing strap around the front part of the hoop and compress it to get it a bit tighter at the front if you need to fine adjust it 😊

Thanks KI, i know i can simple pull it together a little, i just needed the bulk of the adjustment with the bending. 😄

@@RyansGarageUK yes, I did the same on the one I use on my CB400, I used the slicing method though, but similar result

You need to move the seat hoop support further forward towards the shocks and chop those big ugly lugs off the back of the frame. It will make it look load's better.

Hi, thanks for your input.. I do intend to trim back the lugs, the position of the supports might need to remain unless i can design an alternative method of securing the seat.
