Hey it is not like I was speed-running the game right out of the gate, I made a lot of the same mistakes as anyone else picking up Pizza Tower for the first time! Some of them were still pretty bad, though, and included the classic being told something in the Tutorial only to not remember it by the first stage. I guess to be fair they do tell you quite a lot of different things in one short tutorial, though. At least I remember the speedy slide technique... everyone forgets that one! This reminds me of when I watched a friend play this game for the first time a few days ago. He was awful at first, then the second time we called, he had improved a lot. It’s just one of those games

I just finished my holy shit% run yesterday! Amazing how much speedrunners like yourself are pushing the envelope on this game. This game was an absolute blast on a blind play, and it's an even bigger blast when you git gud and put it all together :D

Pink still got mostly A's in her first attempts at the game, meanwhile, I only got D's, C's and the occasional B at best in my early attempts. This is one of those games I'll save for when I finally get a Steam Deck or it will hopefully be ported to Switch--this is one of those games that can only be mastered by training EVERY. SINGLE. DAY--just to get to get to the end credits, and I can't really do that while it's installed on the same computer I use for work and animation all day (I also just don't want to hurt my back further by playing on PC after working on PC all day long). I need the flexibility of a portable device!

Not doing fastfalls on day 1 of playing the game? What a scrub. FR tho I think if I could watch my first playthrough of this game I'd cringe myself out of existence. I was already familiar with the basic moveset from playing the SAGE demo years ago, but the levels were all new and it was so overwhelming I probably misunderstood a lot of things that seem obvious to me now. I also didn't even notice Snotty at all, I thought that gravestone was always there and it was just a funny joke, literally didn't even know he was a character you could kill or spare.
