@@drslomo2366 facts!!! I still play (cruise control) and (keep floating) every morning wake and bake. Like they just came out yesterday. Rip mac🙏 shout out to wiz 💚
Respect to wiz and Vince staples, they’re the only few to honestly saying Mac had demons with drugs and cared about him but when you’re an addict, you just ignore advice but Mac was changing into a better person his last year. Rip Larry fisherman
Idk its kind of petty to me of wiz to say like i tried helping him after he died like if you are going to make a public statement dont do it when its to late
I’m not saying posting on social media is important but Vince didn’t post anything when Mac passed, I hate him for that he has a big impact on people it made me look at him differently
@@PedroPerez-kw8pf Vince went to Mac's memorial and comforted Mac's mom the whole time. He's been in radio interviews speaking highly about Mac and how he had a huge impact on him. Just because he didn't post anything doesn't mean he doesn't care. He speaks to Mac's family regularly since his passing. Get that "Vince didn't post anything so I hate his guts" bullshit out of here. There' s more to life than social media.
They’ve both talked about this relationship between them a lot in the past, I do think it was like a lil bro/big bro situation where Mac wanted to go do it his own way after being compared so much to Wiz early on and Wiz was the big bro just tryna set him straight but making sure not to step on Macs toes as he became into his own creative self, it’s gotta be tough on Wiz seeing him grow since he was 18 and all the stuff he went through knowing he can only try to give advice to Mac and not tell him what to do, RIP Malcom❤️👍
Being from Pittsburgh and still living here there is nothing like the connection Mac Miller has with his Pittsburgh fans. Never forgot us and made us even that much more proud to be from Pittsburgh. Mac will go down as one of the greatest when it's all said and done
As an east coast native the Wiz and Mac Miller era in 2010 on datpiff was lit!! Kush n Orange Juice, KIDS, Best Day Ever and Rolling Papers was some of my best memories getting high and enjoy my youth man!! RIP Mac still tryna head to Pittsburgh some day!
It was great being from Pittsburgh at the time. Hotboxing on the way to school with every mixtape you mentioned playing at some point. Plus going to pool parties in the suburbs and hearing "The Spins" and "The Thrill" getting played so much by both of them. I miss those days... fuck..💀
you gotta watch the other thing he said about mac miller, wiz tried telling mac so many times this the wrong route but you can only tell a grown man so many times about stuff, at the end of the day its mac choice and what wiz meant was yeah it was around his birthday, its pretty obvious having one of your close friends dying by your birthday sucks hard because it will hit harder and will remember everytime your birthday comes and be in a sour mood
Wiz is keeping it real. I saw that same dark pattern with Mac, he was obviously way too deep in drugs and everything and wasn´t on a good path. People were saying it´s hating to call out Mac´s never music but we fell in love with his music because of how fun and upbeat it was. His later music was artistic and great but dude needed more help for sure. Still miss him and always will. He was a light in the world with a lot of struggles. RIP Mac.
Maaaaan I like Wiz and grew up bumpin him, Mac, and Cudi in highschool. They were the top dogs of Stoner rap back in the day. But I can't shake this feeling that Wiz lowkey wasn't really a fan of Mac. The first thing Wiz said was it sucked cause it was around his birthday, that just seemed kinda weird... I always wanted to hear Mac and Wiz collab but all we got were fan mixes, which are dope, but nothing official. Even watching interviews of them both over the years, they always had nice stuff to say about each other, but it just didn't seem like they were that tight, maybe when Mac first came up, but as time went on, it seemed like they were never really homies
Dude I always said this exact thing even before this interview. Something 100% happened when they were both coming up. They went to the same high school too, very odd..
I got that feeling of wiz forsure didn't fuck wit Mac like THAT too, he even said in this podcast that he doesn't know how to keep friends, AD (the dude on his left) had called him out about when he jus ghosted him after awhile when AD thought they were best friends and shit so idk .. the only rappers I feel were truly close with Mac was ab-soul Q Vince retch da$h Earl and the rest of odd future but he was really cool with everyone
I listen to just floatin a lot. I miss Mac a lot still and I hope Whiz and friends are doing alright after his passing I could not imagine how they feel.
Respect Wiz, we got the same nickname, maybe for different reasons, but shit, that's awesome ya tried to help steer someone in the right direction. RIP Mac, not a vet to your music but I'm still bumpin' a few, and will continue to do so until I'm playin' with my dogs after we cross that rainbow bridge.
The tough truth, I grew up a huuge Wiz fan but Mac ended up being the wayyyy better rapper. Wiz ended up being fine personally but his music turned to trash, while Mac was falling apart personally but his last album was a masterpiece. His death was a little overblown with the depression shit tho... his ye was just laced with fentanyl, coulda happened to many people in Hollywood. The border is wide open and people bringing in fentanyl like it’s nothing, scary...
Facts!!! Plus at the end of the day... mac was like pac... he had a feeling he was going to go out before his time. Mac was a young man with a old mind. Said it plenty times. He definitely left alot of music for his fans to live with
I was expecting more from wiz tbh, and not to take away from the video at all but is that the Mexican dude in that funny video about his homies girl beating him up? 😂😂
Lol. Think about this, both of you jokers upset that someone gave the context of an upcoming birthday when asked a question about the passing of a beloved colleague of theirs, one from the same native city.
Y’all slow in the head or sum. Tryna stretch this he basically said it was even harder for him to cope with the situation! When he’s celebrating life. He gotta hear about a friend passing away. Every1 got a date but it’s fucked up when it’s around times like this
The question gets asked , and the first thing wiz says is. “It sucked for me because it was around my birthday” , yall can hate on me over some youtube comments for pointing that out. I.dont.care. Mac and wiz my background, mac and wiz i listen to everyday , probably know more than yall.
Better release that shit from that dudes hard drive asap. By the sounds of it, if that hard drive gets damaged its gone forever. I would love to hear some wiz Khalifa/Mac Miller colabs!
Wiz wanted Mac on Taylor Gang. But Mac refused. He wanted to make his own lane. But Mac should of stayed away from those weirdo drugs and stuck wit weed. Shit.
Not too crazy imo, imagine one of your good friends died near your b-day, you’d think about them every birthday. Dude was also asking him for his personal experience on it too so 🤷🏾♂️

Exactly bro i had jus came from dat vid , so it like wtf he not keeping da exact same. Energy cuz he was saying innate old interview dat he wouldn't even reach out or even talk to him at all so i was like wtff dat ain't sum ah real homie would do even if Yu kno Yu can't get thru to him Atleast send luv his way or sum yk?
He was literally laughing in breakfast club saying he dont want others peoples problem" 😒 😤 and now he's here acting all sad n stuff man is completely a Hollywood dude now
@@alfredeneuman4947 unfortunately because of labels and no one dropping it, we only know they exist, but no physical song. Clockwork, which is mac millers dj has them on the hard drive but is waiting for the right moment
@@alfredeneuman4947 i would imagine that they do have a vault/shared vault, but they were both his producers in different times (germ being 2011-13 and treej somewhere between 2009- 12) they would have older songs and someone like ClockworkDj would have the more modern ones.
The unreleased shii from these 2 is strong specially back in the day. We only got to hear a leak called Goin Places and the final chorus is missing but that joint only is the bomb ... Imagine all the rest we didn't get to hear
Nah yall wanna give Mac his roses now that he’s gone but lots of people were clowning him and shit I remember q said that when he dropped swimming people were making fun of him cause astroworld dropped as well rest up Mac you a legit dope ass dude
oh yeah they both traveled everywhere on College Campuses I remember one time Mac was so fucked up on Alcohol he couldnt perform so Chevy Woods and Wiz had to make sure the Show went on
You’re supposed to know they were not going to pay the 20 bucks in the first place they’re not gonna be the person you want them to be like them for who they are now do you need to change them into to be around you
@@SuperSaiyanGecko I mean, 2010 Wiz and Mac...I could think of 100 good questions for Wiz, and dude acts like he doesn't know they're from the same city, and made music in the same studio in 2008
Drugs are okay if they’re not laced . He should have had a doc to give him prescriptions like juciy u or he should have sticked to real opium like Indians and Arabs or even kratom is good enough and it’s safe , tastes disgusting so you cant get addicted
