I came back to the game after a while and i had enough spellements to train reindeer knight but didnt know what spellements are so i clicked on the spell and trained it on my storm wizard 🥲
The fact y'all called Ship of Fools a spell made by goobers is HILARIOUSLY TRUE. I want more spells like that!! I need more silly goose spells. Fantastic list!! I didn't realize how good Catch of the Day and Rat Spin were!
So I’m leveling an ice Wizard and this is my first time running through the whole game and I’m having fun, but the farther I get the less ice I see. Did I pick a bad school?
You didn't pick a bad school! Everyone just prefers a certain school & each school has a thing its better at! If you are enjoying Ice, keep on going :)
I would recommend trying to get your hands on treasure cards to boost your spell damage, and also to get archmastery from a jewel in the shop at the shopping district. Evry power pip you get will be good for Ice and the other school you choose, like life to heal yourself better
My fav lore spell is catalan. Why? Because it's a dragon, that breathes lightning, and no one expects it. It's one of the oldest spells in the game, and it deserves a number on any list hahaha
As usual Ice gets absolutely NOTHING! Thanks KingsIsle... The only heal we get is completely useless. Angry Snowpig is completely useless and gets outclassed by Thieving Dragon, a spell Ice wizards naturally learn. Handsome Fomori and Winter Moon are decent but mostly situational. Reindeer Knight is the only viable aoe for the Ice School till Snowball Barrage, but is now gatelocked behind school pips :/
honestly I wouldn’t mind school pips locking you out of using works on occasion IF it didn’t takes into account the archmastery of your peers as well. in pve I should not be competing with my allies for what I need to hit
Wow... Celestial Intervention... For the equivalent of 4 pips and the cost of 3 shields you could get UP TO 920 health back, which is 60 more than a Satyr which is ALSO worth 4 pips and DOESN'T cost any shields. Why the HELL IS THIS A SPELL?!
Reindeer Knight beats Frost Giant when capped on spellement levels... And frost Giant is just a weaker Storm Lord. Two elemental schools, Ice and Storm, and their Rank 7 AoE is both stun based. Imagine if Frost Giant actually gave you a ward instead. Congrats, the rank 7 spell for Ice is now Tanking Utility instead of trying to copy Storm, lol.
celestial intervention could only be used if you used thermic shield for example, and were fighting someone who only used storm. you could sacrifice those overlapping fire shields but it’s still kinda weird
Celestial Intervention is actually pretty good when upgraded to 2b, it gives you an absorb that's twice as good as Ice Armor for that amount of pips, AND its protected.
look man, I started playing the game the first year that it came out and what I used to do was max out my fire every time the level cap increased, but I stopped at 137 a while ago just came back and found all these new spells the teachers got. where can i find what all the fire ones can do?
Did you explicitly leave out some like Spiritual Tribunal? I love that spell and I think it's stronger than spectral blast. Also like one of the most prominent like headless horseman. Overall a good video you guys 💪🏻
The only time celestial intervention is remotely ideal is if you are working alongside a balance or have leftovers from dual shields sitting there doing nothing. And at that there are way better heals for the pip cost.
A potential fix to make Celstial Intervention (less) trash is to make it heal a fixed percentage of your max HP (ice having a very high HP pool means it'll become more and more useful the further you get in the game). Maybe like 10% per shield capping at 30%. idk it might be too powerful if its percentage based, It'd need to be a significant amount of hp to justify the pip cost + getting rid of multiple shields, but I also don't think it should heal too much becuase then ice would be too hard to kill. It definitely needs to heal more to justify its very steep cost though. (Maybe as a drawback of it healing potentially thousands of HP you could make it not affected by inc/out healing boosts)
I still think that SoF and Ratatata should get nerfed. Yes, haters, come at me, kill me. Oh and btw I can spell/say every single name in the game. I would want my cookie. I'm lonely and hungry, please I want cookies.
OK, so I'm a bit of a fan of mythology, but I was surprised at how many people didn't know how to pronounce Ratatoskr since he's a figure from Norse Mythology. mainly being the caretaker of the Tree of Life (hence him being life and being a Grizzleheim-themed spell) also, to those who are wondering, you pronounce his name as (Rat-tat-toss-skier)

They didn't give life a 4 pip for so long because we didn't need any help soloing through all of arc 1 into Zakaria. If we had a 4 pip we'd dethrone death as solo class
Its holiday only, so I'm pretty sure it only drops during the christmas event. Similar to how the Headless Horseman is only obtainable during the Halloween event.
I feel like angry snowpig is balanced, like sure you could change the order but that would make it op, especially on an ice wizard, to be able to steal a shield and then hit. The thing is to you would get rid of both shields anyway regardless of the order if they have 2
you consider hammer of thor the worst simply because of the way the description reads? what it does is hit, then you get either a heal or storm blade, and the enemy gets either an infection or weakness, still not a great spell given spells exist that always gives blades or weaknesses, but still, a bit weird that the presentation is what makes it terrible.
