#wizard101 #gaming #mmorpg #lore Credit to Kingsisle entertainment and any associated composers. Continuing on with the Wizard101 Character profile videos, I present to you, Malistaire Drake!
15:54 spiral keys are few and far between so it's likely they would've sailed from Dragonspyre, something that could've been done quite easily before it fell to the Dragon Titan. I believe the reason Malistaire needed the spiral key was because it was no longer possible (or at least safe) to travel to Dragonspyre by conventional means, as seen in Pirate101 with the suicidal danger of entering Dragonspyre's Avernus skyway.
One thing I hope we learn from KI down the road is the original faculty of Ravenwood. I have a feeling Cyrus and Malistaire weren't the original Myth and Death professors. Just bits of lore like that really bring me into the world.
I have news for you!! They're making a new game called raven wood that's a prequel to wizard101. I'm not sure how far down the timeline the new game is gonna take place, but you might be able to find this out
Everything about Malistaire is amazing. The design, the lore and backstory, his motivations, and the obligatory return of him, the final farewell is so well done and crafted with such care for the character. Malistaire is and will always be the most favorite villains of mine, even though he's from a 15 year old game made for 6+ year olds. While the writers think he should have stayed dead, I think each time he returned actually helped his characterization.
They should have made that the head piece for the cyrus drake professor's hoard pack instead of the turban. But you can still technically cosplay the afro cyrus look in game so it's not a total loss.
Basically. Like he's so obsessed with kicking our butts, that he has decided to jack someone's house. Malistaire has no reason to be in castle darkmoor other than because the devs decided to put him there lol
Tbf I think Malistair is weirdly right, summoning the dragon titan seems risky but he is doing it in an empty place far away from living people (not like the cultists that summoned it in a city) and about the fight with Morgantha, she refused to give up her spell deck after causing a shirt ton of damage and attacked Malistair.
Kinda. I emphasize with him wanting to bring a loved one back to life, however, the dragon titan was partially responsible for destroying the first world along with his brothers, the storm and ice titan. I don't think a re-awakened titan would just sit put in a dead world. As for morganthe, I feel a sterner hand and a side of ass whooping at an earlier age could have prevented allot lol
Bro he used Scarecrow on me when I was about to die on my first attempt. But then I attempted it again and all he did was spam Dark Spirte while I was still full HP and had Spirit Armor on.
true, aquila definitely takes allot of inspiration from greek mythology and maybe some style from the roman republic. If you like roman history, I'd highly recommend checking out some of @HistoriaCivilis content, it's super cool in my opinion
Really had hoped at the end you would've included "OH YOU THOUGHT THAT WAS THE ACTUAL END OF MALISTAIRE?! WELL HE'S BACK AGAIN and he's depressed over his marriage" with that one gag character from I believe Karamelle
I personally think they should kept him dead. They should’ve ended his story in dragonspyre. It felt like only kept bringing him back for nostalgia milking and nother more.
