I'm surprised they changed the music in Ravenwood. The new song sounds kinda creepy but definitely mystical.

I like these but I will miss the old ones so much, this game was my childhood and the songs were the ones I remember the best. It would be good if they put an option to keep the old songs.

I think wizard101 should keep on revamping the spells and areas and soundtracks. It truely does make the game more magical and immersive.

jazpix I'm listening to this while I write an essay. I haven't played Wizard101 in probably 2 years. I'm disappointed that they've changed it but you're correct. The immersion will bring in new players and keep the game alive. Can't rely just on nostalgia

It’s 1am and not a good time to listen to this because I’m already sad af of how nostalgic this game is. The feeling I got as kid and creating my first wizard which was fire and the days lasted so long back then.

Dang. I remember going to the computer on a Sunday maybe and seeing “New Wizard City!” and I literally almost cried. I know it sounds over the top, but for real that was one of my best moments of all the years I’ve played this game. And seeing how the revamp was so so long ago, it’s baffling.

Love the decaversary theme... Walruskberg at 20:02, and the Krok Temple of Storms theme at 21:51, cool how they hid those in there (and there's probably more that I didn't pick out)

The new wizard101 IS so different from the old, graphics are so much better too and the different worlds are so unique now! though i wish they would give the characters actual hands instead of the fingers that cant part ;-;

In my opinion I prefere the new Ravenwood OST ‘cauz I feel it more mysterious than the old one (which is really magical too but so much « happy » and I think that Ravenwood is more mysterious than « happy »)

This may just be nostalgia taking but I hate almost all of the new tracks. They are over the top and just add more music rather than refining what was already there. But I looooove the new “wizard city theme 1” it’s a subtle refining that respects the original but adds more magic and whimsy which is exactly what I wanted from the other tracks.

Yeahhh... and I mean, a lot of people tend to shit on remastered OSTs no matter how good they are, because they're so used to certain nuances that aren't present in the new versions. But I honestly think this new soundtrack just isn't good enough. This remaster is more transformative than most others I've heard, and it does have it's gems, but I think it just does not stack up to the original soundtrack. Like, it's not even close.
