Here is an id promo montage from WJBF News Channel 6, the ABC affiliate for Augusta, GA and the Georgia/South Carolina area. All copyrights of Western Broadcasting Company, SNF Company, Pegasus Broadcasting, Spartan Communications, Media General, and Nexstar acknowledged. WJBF signed on as the first TV station in Augusta in 1953 and became an ABC affiliate in 1967. Its on air look remained rather stagnant with a "groovy 6" logo since the 1970s until it adopted a crescent 6 Media General logo in 2002. WJBF has retained the same crescent 6 logo even as its fellow former and current sisters stations have largely ditched or modified their crescent logos from the early to mid 2000s. WJBF's subchannels are MeTV, Ion, and Ion Mystery.
