I had the great privilege of meeting WLC several years ago and going to dinner with him. It was one of the those moments, where meeting your 'hero' actually turned out to be one of the best experiences. His humility, despite his vast knowledge, really moved me. He met me eye to eye and didn't make me feel inferior. He's a true blessing to the Christian faith community and I hope he'll be around many more years to share his work and participate in interviews like this one. Thanks for sharing!

@RobKlarmann Your hero contradicts Thomas Aquinas and Immanuel Kant's ethics. Without god people can find meaning, purpose and value however it is incomplete. Your hero has pushed this idea in our culture that when you lose faith as many do during crisis of faith they are doomed to nihilism. So many ignorant people who lost faith but could have maintain meaning, purpose and value fell into the pit of nihilism. William Lane Craig has pushed far more people towards nihilism than he has brought back to the church. He's not to blame for woke nihilism but his message has been used by the left to prey on people who lose faith at their weakest.

@@Headhand-qd9so if nihilism can be woke then the right truly has destroyed every last bit of meaning the word once had. It´s just "thing I don´t like" now. Also it´s pretty weak criticism of his philosophical take to say "well but socially/politically I dislike the outcome of sharing this view". As a non-theist, to me it seems pretty clear that cosmic nihilism is the only thing remaining if you reject all forms of theism (incl. pantheism and panentheism)

I haven’t heard William Land Craig before but I love his JOY. Just his absolute passion for Christ that demonstrates joy. You can tell he’s empathetic and kind while being highly intelligent and critical (in a good manner) with that inner joy and peace from Christ. So awesome.

Then in so many areas of my life in spite of what I’ve done given what I’ve faced it’s very much like I’m never enough. But no, I don’t think it’s what anyone meant. I did try to temper my reaction too. I AM sorry to everyone if I caused offence I didn’t mean it. If you saw my list of things to do, learn and understand you’d understand more. But I get it. @TheSunnyman3 So what exactly is your allah doing then, because i do not see nor hear that allah has visited anyone in the modern era, not heard that allah has done anything at all. Just you muslims doing things, not allah. Whereas even at this moment, our Lord Jesus Christ appears to muslims in the places where His servants cannot preach, and those muslims that see Him cover in fear and weep at the sight of Him. Not something your allah does, nor can do. Those muslims leave their faith even at the price of death, why? Because they have seen the one true God, and fear Him, and love Him for what He has done for them, even though they did not deserve it one bit.

@TheSunnyman3well, how about not calling everyone a Christian. The Bible says you are known by your fruit. By how we live. If you see me living a life of getting drunk, sex outside of marriage, lying, stealing etc yet claim to be a follower of Jesus does not in fact make me a Christian. Jesus said if you love me, keep my commandments! Those that truly love and follow Christ are changed by their belief in Jesus by Jesus and for Jesus.

I hope this happens again. You two had a great conversation. Isn't it funny that Tate might have criticized Christianity because of all the LGBTQ+. But look at who the LGBTQ+ lobby supports? His god is his belly. He is led by his own lustful desires. He thinks that defending your faith is a physical battle, he does not have eyes to see nor ears to hear the truth. We are in a spiritual battle, we don’t need to murder people that doubt our faith because they are dead in their sins anyway. We must bring light through the truth of the gospel and revive those that are dead spiritually

@@joaquimvieira6866Exactly. There's just pure ignorance on Tates part. Jesus Christ is the embodiment of love; Deut 18:18, Gods voice was in him. Jesus spoke, and you were basically hearing God. Love thy Creator with all thy heart and all thy mind, and love thy neighbour as thyself. Forgive your enemies. What does Islam do? Behead people who don't submit. Muhammed was a war criminal. People get beheaded just for insulting Islam. Islam is full of intolerant, hateful, revengeful ideologies. Islam claims to be the religion of peace, and I believe majority of Muslims are good. But they believe in the Jizya tax. They believe they must kill the Jews and the Christians at the end of time. Allah gets his cronies to do all his dirty work. But in Christianity, Gods wrath and judgement is by Himself. Quran is nothing but pagan ideas and concepts. Nothing compares to the Christian Bible.

I have followed and respected WLC for years, and he became one that the Lord used to strengthen and equip me after coming to know the Lord 31 years ago during college, in the midst of a degree in Religious Studies. you doubt the bible is accurate? why? @@robertdouglas8895 God only forgives those that repent and apologize. We aren't called to forgive everyone if God himself deosn't. We aren't called to judge yet we are to be discerning and share our discernment with other cHristians. We don't judge anyone to hell but we can recognize when a person its evil.. that's not the same as judging. The fruit tree is symbolic. He did it for the symbolism because he was the spiritual teacher that could do that for the lesson.

This was both a powerful and moving discussion - with a surprisingly succinct conclusion... with faith in God, both a) weakness becomes strength and b) responsibility becomes redemptive. William Lane Craig is delightfully engaging.

His point with Joe Rogan is one I find often.. A lot of critics have NO interaction with the evidence/arguments available on both sides. They can't grasp what the Christian is, and neither can they even articulate their own positions well..!

That's one thing that always was so off-putting to me. The stuff I hear in the Quran, the stories, the theology... it's so... stupid? it just doesn't make sense. No coherence in it. Incredibly shallow. There no real tradition it follows. It just feels like a way of Muhammad justifying anything and everything he desired - which seems to be well indicative from the stories of the things he did. With Christianity (especially in particular Orthodox), you can trace its origins right back to Second Temple Judaism and Makavrah Mysticism. It's a continuation of the old Judaism but in light of the resurrection of Christ - Judaism fulfilled. Jesus himself came out of the Pharisee tradition. Muhammad was... what? A illiterate pillaging rampaging warlord sex addict who claimed God talked to him and conveniently agreed to everything, on top of mix-mashing random things from heretical christian gnostic traditions, judaism and some bedouin paganism? I seriously don't understand it's appeal except to appeal to the passions, particularly of certain types of men.

Dr Craig is such a good example for all of us that want to follow the Christ path and close to falling away. Christ has used Dr Craig in so many ways for the benefit of the Christian and atheist.
