Change to Dumborc remote will get much better distance and throttle response. I have the eat14. I changed the remote and motor Mount and to 19t pinion. Much better car now!! Awesome videos 🎉
You have the best reviews Fran, just the smirk in your face makes me get into it so much more than other guys. You seriously look like a kid on Christmas but not just on the top end stuff. It’s awesome that you include something like this. Not everyone can afford a mini e-revo 👍🏼
Things I'll recommend to you is to check every screw that goes metal with metal add loctite add diff fluid 20 to 30k and check the all shocks to make sure Is oil in it have Fun everybody.
I'm thinking about starting a buggy club in my town, I was thinking it would be cool to make a racing series where everyone would use this model or one like it, meaning its a cheap and fair way to race, do you think this model would stand up to multiple races in terms or wear and tear?
I'm looking at this to by 3 one for me and 2 for my sons or friends. This is perfect for my off road track that is nice but quite small and even if fast it handles quite well so the race and fun is guaranteed. You gave me a push. Ciao Nanni
I once made the mistake of buying a few WL Toys at once (12428) and they all broke first time out. Two drive shafts and one rear axle. We weren't even abusing them. I'm not saying don't buy this one (I'll probably end up getting one), but I'd just caution you about buying several at once before you know if its going to be reliable and perform the way you expect.
@@kenland Hi Ken and thank you! This moves me to the opposite direction. I have two WLtoys 12429 &10428, made videos on my channel, and by now no problems (not used too much) I'll consider to change to 3 Associated Hahahahah Ciao!
@@NANNIRC Just watched your video. The area you are driving in is absolutely gorgeous. I live in the desert, which is good for rock crawling, but its just so plain and brown all the time. We get the occasional stunning sunset, but I'd move to somewhere lush and green like where you are in a heartbeat. My wife's family is Italian, so one day I really hope to plan a long vacation in Italy. I subbed to your channel and plan to watch more of your videos later today!
@@kenland Thank you Ken. Yes I'm lucky to live in a stunning place, we have mountains, sea lakes and all what we need at least at 2 driving hours from home. Appreciate you subbed and hope you like my videos. Up to the next, Nanni
Reason why the WLToys 124017 is so good is because its a cost-down copy of the LC Racing EMB line of cars. LC designed the original architecture to compete against the Losi Mini 8ight about 6-7 years ago. If you take a look at the EMB, you'll see they have longer "1/12" chassis used in a SCT, Desert Truck, buggy and truggy format. The LC cars are 30-40% more expensive, but are made with better quality metals and plastics. The RTRs come with Flysky RX/TX, Hobbywing ESCs, slipper clutch, adjustable geariing and are really the top of the game when it comes to 1/14 or 1/12 scale buggy class.
I also had a Team Associated Reflex before that looked and performed so similarly. The Reflex was $220 but had hard plastic tires that needed to be replaced.
@@RCReviewChannel I totally agree. The Team Associated Reflex is way overpriced for what you get. If you can get an LC Racing EMB-T to test to compare, you won't be disappointed.
@@RC-Elevation it's not 30-40% , it's double the price or more , this car is the lc12b1 and it costs 240$ before electronics which is 100$ more and you need to paint the body . so the lc racing model is actually 200$ more than the 124017.
@@darkki94 no, I have both the LC12B1 and EMB-T they are the same chassis length, just one is mid motor and the other is rear motor. EMB-T RTR is really what the 124017 is a clone of.
