In this video I go over the progress I've made on rebuilding my K969 and the custom modifications I've installed so far. I mainly cover the Max Steering Angle Mod and some details on what I had to do to make this upgrade work as it was one of the hardest DIY parts of this rebuild. I also go over some other changes I've made to the K969 and what else I will be covering in future videos of this series. I'm doing this rebuild mainly for fun and educational purposes and don't recommend dealing with the hassle of many of these mods unless you don't mind torturing yourself like I do. Otherwise you might be better off just saving your money and getting one of the higher end Drift Chassis out there. I know the videos may be a little long for most so I apologize for that and appreciate any time you can hang in for, Thanks for watching!

@@ilovebokyem In that case you are welcome my friend. I know how you feel though, I take breaks from the RC hobbies every once in awhile as they can get expensive and annoying at times

I wonder what the parts list for this chassis' price vs the rtr vs a name brand chassis at this scale would cost? Which would be the better bang for the buck

I've wondered that myself, I bought little parts over months and months so I don't really know what I've put into it and there's stuff I got that I didn't even need but what I think matters most is if you have an aftermarket transmitter already or not because that would be the most expensive thing you need since the one that comes with the K969 is hot garbage. If I was starting over from scratch knowing what I know now I def would not buy the RTR version and would just get all the parts separately off Aliexpress and build it from the ground up since I basically ended up doing that anyway as you can see lol

@@sirracer2005 Yep, it just sucks you have to kind of find out the hard way what works and what doesn't since no one sells a kit that has all the good parts ready to go to save you the time and hassle like I've been going through

I can't give them out yet since they are still prototypes that I make changes to all the time. I will be making a video of the front suspension in the near future and I will go through details of my 3d prints of the suspension pieces and max steering with measurements that you can get an idea on how to replicate yourself if you'd like in the mean time, then later I will post the STL files when they are done.

@@AirToGroundRCFPV so you don't have the files, or you are making changes to them? if you can release what you have that would be extremely helpful to many of us that I'm sure are trying to do the same with their K969/989

@@alexmarty676 I do have the files but yeah I'm still making some final changes before I give them to the public and it is kinda tricky to get everything to work so I also don't want everyone mad at me if the 3d prints don't work out for them. I'll post a couple more videos soon of the front suspension and a more in depth one on the max steering, then I'll post the raw STL files on those videos and come back and post them on here as well once I'm done
