WM Drive | 1993 Nissan 300ZX 

It's a very nice highway cruiser. Driving around town is made better by the t-top as well.

Have owned a 94' na 5spd for 16 yrs since 20k,now with 98k .Insurance cost,complexity and cramped engine bay kept me from getting a TT. I put headers ,Stillen exhaust,under drive pulley, suspension,shifter,brake,shock tower upgrades.Extensive Fat Mat sound deadening makes up for for the late eighties engineering deficiencies. Got a few more horses out of it but still will get beat by modern 4 cylinders,doesn't matter.They will never be a 300ZX. I have a true legend that is always fun to drive,easy to work on and has razor sharp steering. If I want blinding acceleration I'll jump on my motor cycle.

I’ve got a 90 N/A 5spd. It’s great for cruising the city’s streets and is such a joy to drive on the backroads. Honestly if you want to drive your car more then working on your car then get a N/A. Maybe the power doesn’t bother me because most 90s cars that I owed were FWD AND never exceeded 150-200hp. The 300 ZX N/A being RWD with 222hp is just enough for me. Get yourself a good clutch, exhaust, brakes and tires. You will be just fine.

@@worldwidemanuals6897 yes. Nissan was stupid to ditch the z32 shape for the ugly 350, 370 and 400z.

3000gt and NSX seem fine to me.

On this particular example, the e-brake does nothing for the first 97% of travel. The last 3% is where all the action happens.

There are two adjustments for the e-brake handle. One is inside the rear brake rotor 'hat'. Where you can adjust it like a drum brake. The other adjustment is inside the leather boot of the e-brake handle just under the handle. It is an adjustment nut for the handle and cable to reel in any further slack. I did that years ago to my 1991 triple black / 2 seat / stage 2+ / 5 speed trans owned since 2000 and garaged all the time. But you are right 99% of Z32 owners leave that handle an AWFUL mess. It is super easy to adjust and also a MAJOR safety issue if you do not adjust it as the car will creep backwards on an incline, if left in neutral, (even with the e-brake pulled up tight) on a manual trans car.

After much thought, I have decided to keep the Z for my personal collection, which is just starting to grow. I love the looks and driving mannerisms of this car. In the same way I bet a Probe does, this Z just makes me feel special.

That would depend on a lot of things. Climate, personal needs, and many other factors so that decision is up to you. I will say that it is a relatively efficient car, especially when highway cruising.

The maintenance costs are pretty high.

There are drawbacks from most recording options for POV drive. Straight lines come without the wide FOV🤷‍♂️
