I think my favorite thing I'm seeing in Wo Long, is that after seeing this build I can easily see how to make any build. The ideas that Cowboy goes through in the video (Stats, Wizardry, etc.) I can just transfer them to a different build and easily make a new build. Thanks Cowboy for this build btw.
Lots simpler sure, but also much fewer build options. In Nioh you could build an entire set around a single weapon art, now you just build around weapon scaling. And since you can't adjust weapon scaling the weapon choices are also much more restricted.
I found you through your bloodborne walkthrough about a year and a half ago cause it was my first souls game, still haven’t beaten it but I loved the feel of it so I gambled and bought elden ring and I logged in almost 400 hours on it, saw this game on gamepass last night so I decided to try it out and you have no idea how happy I am and how much joy it brought me right now when I found this video lol nice to hear your voice again let’s get this money cowboy
Lu bu is so annoying 😂 I was cruising through the story doing everything pretty much solo! Then Lu Bh came! I'm glad I'm not the only one struggling on him though!
Earth is great, you can get bulky armor, and there are some really good spells on that tree, like the one that raises exploding rock spikes. Damage is insane
Bo Cai gave me such a damn hard time as well LOL I was only like level 27-29 your videos honestly saved years of my life my blood pressure was very high a few hours ago 😂 Since getting Zhang Fei’s gear & doing some levelling up im up to Lu Bu level and now is a good time to call it a night I think😅
So I’ve heard different things, that if you stack the damage dealt embedments that they don’t actually add up. You only get the damage increase from one of them
Oh boy, cowboy builds are back! I was skeptical about the dual halberds but it(or staff) might be my main. My copy should be in by the time I get off work
That last set is a Grace set. You get them on random armor pieces and weapons that weren't sets in New game but when you get to new game plus you can get them on 4 or 5 star gear but it's random
I loved this build through NG. I'm wondering how to improve it in NG+, I'm a quarter through and haven't found a single 5 star piece of gear. Seems really rare...
Curious if you will respond to this question? I really would like your honest opinion on build variety in this game. In my opinion the builds all feel very similar. Some feel unique but in my opinion it's just almost the same build but different element. Hope they buff some other skills in the game and add some new weapons for the dlc. Still a great game tho
@@zackeryh250 Have you tested it towards end game? I'm level 30ish so haven't dumped a ton into crafting yet. However I would be surprised if they didn't balance around this. You know what I mean? Why put it in the game if it's not working as it states. Maybe it's more of a NG+ thing where you start getting all states to 30+ in wizard.
I don’t know, at this point I’m ready to quit the game, I was looking so forward to it to and it’s taking one boss to absolutely shred my morale to play this game any further…
PSA: If you're planning your builds, keep in mind that the game does feature the Graces kind of set akin to the ones in Nioh (item sets that can roll randomly on non-set pieces), exclusive to New Game Plus, some are quite powerful. Keep that in mind when planning a build and keep an open mind about what to build for. Edit: Additionally, it seems the level cap currently is 150, but that's bound to increase once the DLCs start dropping.
@@FightinCowboy I didn't even notice it, but since I love this community I figured people looking for builds might get use out of this. I heard that there's even an item like the Yasakani, that reduces the amount of set items for bonuses by 1 piece, but I personally didn't find it yet, but then again I'm only halfway through the game.
Man you are the only one that has atleast shown Lu Bu's weapon. Now I atleast know we can get this weapon. Another thing which I wanted to know is do you get his armor ?
Funny as I was working on my Ice build I landed on the exact same 4 armor perks as you (but ice). Not much to pick from really, whatever element you're going then spirit gain is most likely what every build will be.
Yeah I think for element builds this is going to be pretty standard, wizardry spell reduction sounds nice but spell reduction seems negligible when you consider how much more spirit you could gain.

The end game grind is a complete joke, you unlock a way to lower your own max morale, I beat a boss which took about 3 hours who had 25 morale while I had 0 and I got nothing
Been using a similar build with the Guding Blade and have been loving it. How does light armor feel in NG+? I have heard that it falls off and becomes very difficult to survive.
Anyone know how to get those blue sub stats on the armor pieces? Like the power gain upon fatal strike? I don’t have the option for them at the blacksmith and google hasn’t helped
It's a little weird but you need two pieces for the tier 1 bonus, looking at the sheet that you would think it meant one piece, two-piece, etc. It's actually something I've raised with the Dev team already but they're more focused on stability patches before they worry about quality of life
level cap is 150, cant get wood to 30 and fire to 99. the highest is leaving wood at18 and fire to 95 max. what would you suggest ? 25 into wood and the rest in fire ?
Hey Man, Is there any way to imbue weapon with elemental like fire or water other than using wizardary spells or divine beast. If Yes, What should I look for when I do salvage.
Nioh is Japanese history related so Japanese dub for sure... But this is anicent china about three kingdoms but why use Japanese dub too? Shouldn't it be mandarin language? I mean it's more suitable for this game too.
