Okay quick disclaimer: I am aware of the Multiple Intelligence test and that there’s different ways a person can be smart. And I’m not advocating a fixed mindset. What I’m talking about is how raw intelligence is pretty much luck because IQ can be affected by things out of your control; like the way you were raised, habits, the intelligence of your parents, if you were breastfed, and what types of food you ate as a kid. Basically things that you had no control over. Anyone has the capacity to learn information and play logic games to boost their thinking skills, but what concerns me is how IQ is what gives you a learning RATE. So in that case, kids who were gifted genetically and ended up with a 150 IQ at birth will always have an advantage over others cause they can learn faster compared to a kid who scored 80, even if they both want to learn as much as they can. And to make things worse, it seems like the lower IQ a person has, then the less desire they have to learn and grow because for them it’s too hard to keep up with geniuses who can theorize in their sleep. That and also the Dunning-Kruger effect comes into play. It’s not fair.
