I can't begin to express how fascinating this was to me. I desperately want to create my own 3D characters from scratch but have no idea how to start. As an animation grad, the sculpting, rigging, and texturing classes I took were basic at best. Didn't even get a chance to learn about hair or fur stuff. The fact that you are able to pull off the entire pipeline by yourself to achieve something that looks this clean (an in just 4 months) is a huge inspiration to me. I hope I can reach your level someday. Thanks for sharing
I would start with the good ol' blender guru donut tutorial, blender can definitely be a pain at first but is worth it in the long run. Can even be useful for traditional 2D animation for reference posing, background art etc.
This video really showed me I was capable of making 3d anthro animal characters with realistic fur in blender. Thank you for the inspiration as I now have created a fox and wolf character to star in my next blender movie!
I can't stop reviewing it! I watch render scenes every day. Thanks to you, I started mastering the Blender - today I was able to remove my first default cube. this music at the end is incredibly epic, and the character is incredibly beautiful
So good! Character creation is tons of work but it's pretty satisfying to see the progress and the final result I guess. You're a very talented, inspiring artist man. Cheers!
Nicky, you are very good at 3D modeling, my dream is to work in animation, and your videos are the source of my food to learn more about how the 3D world works. You are amazing, congratulations.
Hello ! I like your video of grooming in Blender ^^ I would have a question for you : could you please make a tutorial about the creation of an anthropomorphic wolf/fox from A to Z on Blender 3.3 ? It would be great 👍🏻
Hi, there! really impressed by the amount of effort you put to each project you work on. Would love to know what would be the process after the client cancels in the middle of a project, I'm curious on how you would handle the payment in such a situation. Being a freelance vfx artist this is something I've been wanting to know for a long time, Thanks in advance!
How long does is take you to make these beautiful characters? Also, how do make the eyes on your character’s? Because like. They look soo realistic. Maybe a little too realistic…..
Ha ha if the eyes look too realistic, you enter the uncally valley,,, that's why most of my characters have huge eyes to stay as far away from realistic proportions as possible. This particular client wanted a realistic wolf with human expressions. We had been working on this particular character for a good 4 months.
Hi Nick. Could you make a tutorial with key input display on? I'm not familiar with the methods you used in this video. hard to follow for someone who is new to sculpting. Would be much appreciated
What computer do you use that can handle Blender? I have a windows 15 computer but when I use blender for while in the middle of modeling it starts freezing sometimes or gets very slow in loading or simple stuff like turning the model.
3960x threadripper, 24 core 48 thread 3080 founders 64Go ram 3Tb ssd 6Tb HDD storage For rendering large scenes or characters with alot of fur you do need something quite beefy, but for modeling you really don't need anything crazy. I use windows 10 as it has worked great for me for many years. I believe windows 15 is still beta and is probably still riddled with bugs. I don't think blender is officialy compatible with it. I would just stick to windows 10
Some reason for some reason the first render looks like Polaris from The Little Panda fighter , they had a bigl budget, cuz the films animation is hilarious bad and ugly
