Wolf Creek: Season 2 premieres on Stan Australia this Friday, 15th December. Part One of Two. Here's Part Two: • John Jarratt & Greg Mc... See More on The Iris - www.theiris.com...
After watching Season 2, I'm starting to suspect that Mick is actually a demon. He's been shot in the neck, smashed in the face with a hammer, impaled with spikes, set alight, blown up - and he walks around with barely a scratch on him. The only thing that really weakened him was the chanting of a shaman. So I wonder: did Mick make some sort of deal with Satan?
exactly what I was thinking! especially when they mentioned the the crater calling people etc I'd love more backstory to his character if they ever do another film
You know what's interesting about the Aborigines blatuntley using magic against Mick Taylor? It 100% proves that the supernatural is real in the Wolf Creek universe. So at the very least we now know that the supernatural is real in this universe. Therefore Mick being supernatural is very plausible.
Fantastic films, character and actor. Mick Taylor is a great horror villain, up there with the best of them, like a psychotic Crocodile Dundee shrouded in mystery terrorising his victims in the middle of nowhere. Let's hope they keep making more films/programmes. He defentley nailed it.👍
Mike Coombes Unfortunately, there are no plans for a third season at this time. They do plan on making a third film though. Last I read, production may start later this year, in hopes of a 2022 release.
How did Mick survive being speared twice through his chest and how the hell did he get away from that burning building when he was speared and unconscious and manage to leave one spear still imbedded in the BRICK wall? Too crazy for words
if you read the books, you will understand, but just a quick run-through of it, mick found an alter with human bones under his mine where he lives. the alter told him to kill and 'give blood to the land', and they will give him power in return. as you saw, in the part where the tourists were in his maze in season 2 and he was standing still and listening to the sounds around him, essentially, the blood he's given has given him heightened senses and I'm guessing from that he's also immune to alot of wounds. he even skinned someone and wore it for more power, lol
Great series, be nice to have seen Mick get a bit more in trouble though, as the outcome is always the same, he's never in peril himself apart from the end of season one
If I was the producer/director I would have had the last scene of Season 1 with Mick hobbling off into the sunset like the movies used to do instead of a crow on a fence post.. I think they missed a great last scene.. That would have kept Mick alive in the viewers minds for this season.............We all know he made it out of the burning house but A last view of Mick walking away would have been epic.......................Just saying.
John Jarrett is such a good actor. First time I've seen him as himself. I love Australia 🌴🐨 and Wolf Creek 🌇 He's so believable as crazy psycho Mick Taylor 🌋 🇬🇧
Haha it came out in Australia two days ago on the 15th of december hahaha. Dude its pretty good, hope you enjoy it. I've been following the movies all my life :P
Random Rides Trust me. Same here. Love the Wolf Creek movies. And the first season was just as intense. And it is obvious Season 2 is taking Mick Taylor's savagery to an all new level with the unlucky tourists. New "heads on a stick" for our favorite outback serial killer.
Nothing shocks me because l've lived not quiet but similar in Calabria Italy by the 1990 i don't want to speak about it I was a student no more information.
I just found out about this season and watched the 6 episodes over a few days. I enjoyed it, but feel the one area it was let down were the characters. You couldn't really root for anyone besides Kelly, they were all dickheads lol. Brian was a bastard long before it was revealed (but I get that had to be done), Rebecca often snapped too and Oskar/Nina just weren't likeable. The rest were killed off either too fast or undeveloped. I liked Bruce but he died earlier, same with Ritchie and Davo. The main characters just weren't endearing. I still love Wolf Creek and hope for another season, plus I believe a third movie is coming too. The two movies you could root for the people, they were more likeable, as was Eve in season 1.
I kinda get what you're saying, but I still ended up "rooting" for them, mostly because I would never wish for someone to be in a situation like they were. Most people would probably snap one way or another, so their flawed attitude seemed believable to me. It's more of a sympathy thing I guess. I do agree they wasted too many characters far too quickly though.
Ofelia Reality I’m glad she survived as well! I hope if they do a season 3 & she will return, I would also like to see Eve from season 1 return as well.
Mr Django It was heavily, heavily implied that she didn’t make it. Mick left her in the desert instead of killing her himself because he knew she didn’t stand a chance.
