@@PrettyProChannel it's a sales technique where when the person you're selling to has an objection you accept and agree with it, before quietly moving the sale forward anyway. So for example if someone says they don't wanna buy from you cos a salesman was rude to them in the past, you agree with them that rudeness is annoying and made them feel like shit, but the good thing for them is you hate rudeness too and will make sure this sale goes pleasantly.

They're are almost always focusing on themselves (selling their persona) to sell their product (album, shows, whatever) in this interview he's strictly selling his product. I use to work in a call center. What Jordan is saying is correct. It's not necessarily prejudice, it's more of sharing common interest. You feel more comfortable with someone you can relate to

Man he said in the interview you start your sale with logic and then lead into emotion. As the interview went on he started with telling people how the system works, and then by the end was saying how people are unmotivated and how the book changes people's lives. Buddy used his tactics as he was telling them lol
Please bear in mind everyone that the book approaches Sales from a completely ethical, scientific standpoint, with no mention of high pressure Sales tactics.

Charlemagne didn't go as hard as he usually does at some guests. He realized quickly that Jordan can talk circles around him and isn't going to fall into the traps.
Google implicit racism, Jordan Belfort is not some expert on sociology. He might seem like an expert in everything to the birds, but in the academic world that is specific form of racism. In which you implicitly discriminate against people i.e. without actively thinking about it. That he threw in sex, just expands it to implicit sexism. And he's asking questions about the book, that's how professional CTG is. He's the only person who reads the whole book and ask specific and challenging questions about shit he doesn't understand or agree with. Then you snowflakes start crying or think that it's some hustle or about putting people in their place.

i find it super interesting how he responds to them "confronting" him. like with the hoes and with him plugging his book repeatedly. he quickly responds by telling a relatable and seemingly honest and no-bullshit story that makes him seem so human. he really is good at talking. i learned a lot from this, really educational.

He kept referencing his book and then I realized that he’s trying to sell his book to anyone listening to this, seeing as most people watching this are interested even just moderately in sales. So fascinating how insanely good and elaborate he is at this. He’s selling people by talking about selling to people and i’m watching him talk to 3 people on my phone. Powerful stuff.
You'd be surprised what one can learn. When I started in sales I wasn't very social and I was also quite the introvert (could barely even make eye contact with other people). As time passed and now 3 years later, I am at the point where I call myself an extrovert now. Now I like talking with people as it builds many relationships with people who you would of never met being an introvert.

I've read the book and Jordan has a whole section on not USING IT IN-ETHICALLY, it was a total surprise to me but, the ability to sale is an amazing gift. Something I still struggle with but it is an amazing and powerful skill to have, I re-read the book every 6-8 months to embed the skills he talks about in a professional and ethical way. Jordan is a god send for those of use that don't have that ability from birth. We are all learning. I love this guy, and if I ever had the chance to sit down with him I would just forget everything lol I would love to pick his brain. F/cking amazing stuff.

I left corporate America and went into sales. I was the only female and African American in the office of white males and I broke every record in sales. My mom taught me how to speak and relate to people but white males taught me how to close the sale. Haven't had a job in 20 years. Sales runs the world
