As someone, who was raised with this game I can tell one thing - new generation will not understand this game. This was super addictive. In fact, got it installed again last year and have not launched it yet, because I know how fast it will drag me back :)
I raised with that, met few people with whom I have contact till this day and even hosted some clan servers :) I remember hosting one alongside TS2 server on a single PC with 512MB of RAM :D
Never played this one back in its day, I did get this one from GOG a few years back. Decided to play it Saturday evening, had a good time, played for a good two hours. Kinda miss when online games were like this with community hosted dedicated servers, wish I played it back then.
Game was great in the early days (7 mines on defence was daft though). Around a year in eastern europe came “online” then suddenly cheaters everywhere. Still, a great game.
From someone that played this gem of a game for many years...( and I still play nowadays ) let me tell you that you need a cfg so you can see everything clear...seriously let me know if you need a cfg. Cool video btw. Cheers
I will tell you of a bug that was not fixed. Play as a cov-ops and choose the bolt action rifle. Toggle scope to remain on with key select. Steal an enemy uniform while looking through the scope. The scope view will remain with whatever weapon picked up. You have total control of the game and freedom of movement. Only manually reloading will cancel the scoped view. Automatically reloading will not. It's kinda like cheating but it's isn't. I see it as duct taping the scope to a new weapon.
The addition of a third head shot, equal to about 16 body shots, gives nubs a learning curve. It gives overwhelming numbers it's due without sacrificing the intensity of the game. A group of sheeple will have enough combined HP to drop a skilled player by virtue of too many HP for the pro efficiency timing. It was a smart addition. Especially on Jmod which is like Hockey. WW2 on Ice. You're good, dive in.
Huge reason i have hard time with any other games thats arnt rta mm or halo3 when bungie was in power mm matchmaking… crazy fair it was (except the rank 38 squad battle or big team battle then people cheated (stupid xboxmicrosuck exploits) and i couldnt ever play again really broke my heart) Same for being one of the best in the world at leagu of legends 14 years ago Matchmaking ruins almost everygame for me bungie halo ranked had it good system no idea how they pulled some of it off (like new accounts speeding thru the ranks with win sprees was amazing not letting them too low too long like league of legends used to keep me stuck in silver even tho i was crazy good (in halo3 each time i learned a new trick i ranked up so much from it (like corner grenade wall while being chased) was epic game Wolfenstein sadly its the bots i think ruined it for me and always getting banned for talking too much good for vegan activim tho… fucking hate people who talks but doesnt educate themselves.. its ok to be ignorant in 99% of the world things but admit when you dont know and maybr ask questions (so many fkin vegan documentaries over 40 of them no fkin excuses for ignorance
I disagree. The red effect helps with subconscious injury reporting. These things help with not needing to constantly look at the numbers on the HUD. Also, use the pin dot sight. In white.
