You are right! The head and neck piece is one so there’s no way unless by magnet.

No, there are other ways. You can have the head be separated from the neck, such as with the Batman DX19 or the new Spider man red and blue. But you will have the neck seam.

"Millions" is a stretch in Hot Toys. I would be surprised if there are more than 5k to 7k Mace figures in total, especially since it only went on the waitlist when launched (production was already finished, so Hot Toys can't produce to order anymore). Your arguments are fair. But, there are no new Mace Windu appearances in recent shows or movies, and the character looks the same in his movies. This situation is similar to that of Count Dooku. There are no rolling eyes either, and he looks the same in all movies. If a 2.0 version comes, it will likely take more than 5 years (Dooku was released in late 2019 or early 2020 and no Dooku 2.0 yet). Ultimately, it will depend on the popularity of new shows and movies. If they are not that popular, Hot Toys will likely focus on 2.0 or 3.0 versions of popular characters.

Sneaker wasn’t saying he was absolutely right, but I tend to agree with him. There is no new content of mace, no new looks, he’s not a prominent character (even though he has a following) and he was just released. Could it happen? Sure. Is it likely? I really don’t think so.

Thanks for watching! The speed in which you receive this new spidey depends on where you preordered from. Sideshow will likely take another 2-4 months to receive. Typically figures take about 1-2 years to release. There is no rhyme or reason on how long it takes. If you weren’t able to preorder a figure but got on the waitlist, my guess is it’s a 10% chance it will convert and you would be able to purchase/preorder. It all depends on people who have preordered, cancelling.

Have learned this year that there were/are ETA diffs between Hong Kong & US (Sideshow) markets by a few months or longer, on average. My ~ 25 waitlisted figs were added from Jan to last month; the Spidey I prob added in January. Note, I've been using the Sideshow listed projected ETA on a fig, say "Ships in June, Ships in July, etc." as fairly accurate for US pre-ordered figs by community but not for Waitlisters? Note, got my Doc Strange Madness fig and Thor Endgame fig opened after work today. Just finished quickly setting up both. Again, have done a ton of "research" in 2024 via 100s & 100s of quality YT vids & stream viewing from say 2018 to this year such as yourself & your friends group. Have no brick & mortar in AR so sifting through trusted reviews is best for us. I'm truly blown away by the overall Strange Madness fig release. From the great costume & cape to accessories to (2) sculpts= so well done. Am not sure when a fig officially gets on folks Fig of the Year lists bc it's confusing & crazy w/ official ETAs vs preview best ofs vs samples for influencers lists, LOL. But this Strange release is quality up/down & impressive! The Thor is great too to me; not a 10 like on the Strange but a solid 8-8.5, totally positive. Got good deals on both too. Wanted to share.
