Incredible. Thanks for saving us a lot of time to get some things up and running here. Also thought you were a great presenter, inspired confidence through competence and a good attitude toward all parts of the modding community by not shaming the more eccentric adult stuff. Gotta have apocalypse spells, cant play a fun mage without it thanks for making sure that was in there. Sounds like alot of other cool stuff ive missed out on too. Really you knocked this video out of the park, quality blows the competition for the topic outta the water. Thanks for sharing your time with us.
This is awesome!! Been loving it so far. It's wonderful to be able to swap between modded skyrim on pc and deck so seemlessly. Only downside is that in solitude the fps plummets to the 30s sometimes but it's not that big of an issue
Thanks to your video I may finally have the hang of modding Skyrim on my Steam Deck. Currently working on a mod setup of nearly 200 mods...Not RU-vid appropriate, but no less hilarious if my shenanigans with it on PC are any indication
This is a very good list. Thank you. I did have one question though as I am very new to modding and I don't know what conflicts with what. I was wanting to add a couple mods like the combat overhaul to make the combat more interesting and souls like I guess. Is that going to conflict with anything on this list?
Thank you for this!! Is there a way to use the NSFW UNP in this pack? I tried reinstalling in through Vortex selecting the NSFW options, however, it appears to have no effect.
This is great! I just can't figure out where to view the load order list. When I check out the page you linked, it does list all of the included mods, but they're in alphabetical order. Is there an easy way to view the load order somewhere?
Again, thank you so much for not only showing us how to do this but sharing a good mod list. I do have another question, however: I have my modded skyrim saved to a microsd. I am upgrading to a much larger microsd and I was wondering if there is a way to transfer the game and its mods to the other card?
Hey man BIG question here: I noticed that you mentioned you would need to update this modpack due to recent game updates. Would downloading all creation items on the most recent update, then downgrading to the update this modpack runs on (1.6.640), make this modpack run?
When i download it through vortex and try to open it it just tells me " The game associated with this download are not managed, install for the currently managed game?" and it only gives me the option to cancel. Can anyone help with this?
nice, thank you for your effort, i'm definitly about to try this all out! one question, tho: i have skyrim on the internal ssd.. if i were to download and apply the mods, would the game have to be kept in the ssd, or can it be moved to an sd card? :) maybe this is a bit of a stupid question, but... if only!
Wolfy, do you know a work around regarding different versions of the game? I tried installing this 3 times now and keep running into problems. My version of the game is different then what's on this video. Thanks in advance.
total modding newb here. I got a steam deck for Christmas and want to mod my Skyrim buuuut I have a Mac... Can I still follow the instructions for modding here or with the mac os screw it up?
As someone that never played skyrim im interested in it once i saw the ultima skyrim video. Do you know if the steam deck can run Nolvus modlist to turn it into youtuber Nukt skyrim ULTIMA? I don’t have abpc only a steam deckthats why im wondering 😩
Since your question was never answered, i figured i’d answer it. Ultima will not work on the deck as it uses too many resources that the deck just doesn’t have the power to give. TLDR: No, the steam deck is too weak to run Ultima
Do have a question. I tried your mod list on PC and it worked. I am in the process of putting this on the Steam Deck. However, in a previous video you chanced the "skse64_loader" and renamed it "SkyrimSELauncher" but you did not do that on this version/video? The file locations and overall process I think I've done but that was my main question. Also, can I run this modded version without using the Desktop version on the Deck?
@@greaterthanpie OH WOW! After hours of screwing with this I now have a modded Steam Deck version now. I can play this on the PC, right? As long as I use cloud saves? And rename the PC's skselauncher back to skse loader?
I followed every step as shown but when launching in desktop mode it just crashes every time i hit new game so i tried in gaming mode anyway and that time it was like a completely seperate instance of skyrim, not a single mod exists in their even though i have all 138 mods you showed, what could i have done wrong? I spent the last 2 hours doing everything meticulously
@greaterthanpie ahh that explains a lot, I removed half of the heavier mods and was able to get the game running beautifully for a few hours, only issue I'm still running around trying to fix is that every time I hit the pause button to check quests or save the game crashes, I appreciate the reply though, great video!
