This wasn't as popular ? You are on drugs ... The minute this came out, Children of the Atom fell off and everyone was playing this. I dare to say all the popularity Marvel got on later games, was because of this game and not so much because of X Men
Marvel Super Heroes was actually my introduction to the VS series. I played the hell out of this game on the PS1. Spidey and Psylocke are my top mains in this game. I also love Wolverine and Iron Man too though
I still have my modded PSP with the CPS emulator with this game all the way back in 2009. Just having battles with Thanos as Wolverine on the highest difficulty, good times 👍....

“Rookie.”- Logan a.k.a. Wolverine Cal Dood is by far the best voice actor for Wolverine. He set the bar for other actors, including Hugh Jackman, in Wolverine should sound. With that being said, I’ve played Marvel Super Heroes many times!
You’d think that Capcom & Marvel/Disney would’ve gotten the message by now to do whatever is needed to make a Vs collection by now right? At least an announcement.
@@kildaver It's weird that Arcade 1UP can get a Collection of these Classic Marvel VS. Games on Home Arcade Machines yet we can't get the Games on actual Consoles or Steam!

Power Gem is for Spider Man, Psylocke, Captain America, and Wolverine Time Gem is for Hulk and Shuma Gorath Space Gem is for Magneto and Juggernaut Soul Gem for Iron Man Reality for Blackheart.
Doom and Thanos were playable on the Saturn version of MSH with a code, and Thanos' endings even worked properly. Anita was available on JPN but was removed from PAL / NTSC.
Yoo I used to be training for these combos so much and the resets and the damn infinites man I used to do Wolverines but MAAAANNNN IRON MAN'S COMBOS WERE INSAAAAANE MAN
Because of all the Wolverine players doing infinite combos all the time in my local arcade, i became a Juggernaut main. I would just turtle and i won't take any damage. Then I would use an alpha counter and kill them in less than 10 hits. Wolvie may be cheap AF but Juggie is OP AF!
I know it was a mostly botched port job, but I played the hell out of the PS1 version of MSH. I contribute those continuous rentals of it to why I then went on to play so much MvC at the diner in the mall that we used to have out here.

I was a huge Wolverine fan when I was a kid and still am he’s my go to for marvel superheroes and mvc and even X-men vs street fighter Wolverine is pretty broken though
There was a cabinet of MSH for years and years at the Noble Roman's where I grew up. Many many quarters dropped in this machine. I was sad to see it gone when I went back last month.
Dammit Capcom, Marvel or anyone involved. I would buy the crap out of these games for multiple systems if they ever got re-released. A marvel games pack similar to street fighter anniversary with most or all the marvel games in it would just be super.
Marvel Super Heroes is one of my all time favorite fighting games. Shame the matches Im playing Spidey in the video are of me getting shit on by my friend Juno lol
This video is a little old, but Marvel Super Heroes is what introduced me to the Marvel brand properly. There was a roller rink in my city that had this arcade machine, and everytime we went to it, I would play it. I was still a young kid and this is what introduced me to a lot of the major marvel characters and I'll never forget it. Also obviously being the first capcom fighting arcade game I ever played. Absolutely love Marvel Super Heroes.
I have a question and would appreciate feedback from anyone who can help me in this situation. I figured this would be the best comment section to post this since I didn’t get anywhere with Google. I just bought Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition digitally on Xbox One, and got the Ultra Upgrade and all the Costume Packs. I noticed however that I’m missing the Alternate 1 Costumes for all the Vanilla SF4 Characters. I found the Vanilla SF4 Alternate Costume Pack DLC on the Store but it’s under Vanilla SF4 as a separate game. My Question is, is there a way to buy the Complete Alternate Costume Pack From Vanilla SF4 and have it download with my Arcade Edition? Or do I actually have to also buy Vanilla SF4 too? I’d prefer to not have to buy the game a second time just for Costumes though. Thanks in advance for any feedback. Here in South America, saw a bit of MSH arcades, some X vs SF, a crap ton of MVC (it's almost an arcade staple), a very few MVC2, but never saw a CODA. Must be an importer or clone thing, cause we have an insane amount of Neo Geo arcades, Metal Slug is another arcade staple

Msh has always was my fav marvel game, we had one on the arcade near junior high and with ko 98 & 99 there were good battles. Ps for. Good marvel fight cade videos look for the youtuber shaqn he's from argentina and uploads vids from every marvel game
Everyone loves MvC2, but this game is my childhood straight up. The corner store near my house at the time had this game and I would play the hell out of it. When I didn't have money, I would just wait for someone else to show up or watch the demo repeatedly. Marvel Super Heroes is the best one imo. I really wish there was a way to get this game legitimately now, you just gave me a hankering for this game.
