(2/17/21) 12 years today | Malevolent Grain (2009) ...wolvesinthethroneroom.bandcamp.com/album/malevolent-grain This is the first album to feature guitar by Will Lindsay from the now defunct Middian. Jamie Myers from the band Hammers of Misfortune also supplies guest vocals for the song "A Looming Resonance".

@@rahmatsumantri6577 For me, after this EP, there's Diadem, Two Hunters and Black Cascade, more or less equal. Newer stuff I can't seem to find into it. But I don't really listen to this kind of music anymore anyway so idk 😅

I haven’t listened to this in forever.... I searched this up on RU-vid and found this video. It sounded very strange to me. It bothered me so much I dug out my old vinyls to check . Something about the vocals are so different.... Anyone else notice?

This band gets a lot of shit and I find most of it bad, but for whatever reason I dig this short EP a lot. Stylistically quite a bit different than their other works, less monotonous, more variety, a nice and satisfying build and release of tension.
