It's weird, though. If you know someone gorgeous and they're shallow and boring, then those looks become nothing much. At least for me. A friend of mine is absurdly handsome, and he just has to look at a guy or girl that he's interested in and they swoon. As did I a bit. But there's not a lot to him, and I absolutely would never want to be with him.
You might as well look up child predator on the internet and send them a picture of your little girl and ask if they want to be my boyfriend and live with me and my daughter? I am naive and just plain stupid so I’ll believe anything you tell me.
The scammer has convinced her she will get it all back. It's very sad but many vulnerable people have fallen for it. It's a successful scam Education will help because once the person is sucked in no one else can convince her he isn't real. It's all promises.
And not to mention being a better role model would probably also include not giving out the address where you and your child live to a complete stranger.
I’ve noticed a pattern with the women in these scams. The bar for men is so low that: “He’s polite and doesn’t get angry at me” is enough for them to overlook all the red flags.
Yea, its nuts! The other glaring piece to that puzzle though is that all these men are very good looking. If he was average/ugly, and nice, I gaurantee you they'd only be friends, but because he's "gorgeous" and claims to be rich, they just want so bad for thigns to be real.
You'll have to define "educated". Our universities do not teach people how to think, analyze, and come to an intelligent conclusion. Students are fed a bunch of BS and sent out into the world. Plus, Hot + Money = True Love.
@@Jeanninecomeau I haven't Even the first time 20 years ago I never sent money Over beauty & such. I felt something was not right. She was a fashion Designer & She made more then I did.. Back in 2005 I only made $700 monthly. SHe was asking me for thousands. I told her What was I suppose to live on? She didn't care. I blocked her. & after that did a search On her name. I remember she had a very different name. "Sarah Kimberly godson" it was. My gut was right all those photos she sent me did not match. & she was on a romance scam waring. Right there & then I learned about romance scams & I Vowed Never to be scammed by anything since then. I will never send money to any one online. I don't on the street why should online be different. Still Strangers Hell all of you are strangers even So not everyone has been guilty. Not even a pretty face. There is something I value more then a person My collection & hobby, It brings me more joy then a Person or having kids would. Being single Makes me happier I don't need no one I rather die alone.
Yes superficial world! I know a “homeboy” (black guy) who states he hates BBLs lip injections etc Baby this Latina girl came around that was interested in his fine self and his money And he proposed to her and she has had more surgeries that she is almost unrecognizable now He just was not interested in BLACK women like him People are a trip that’s why they get into these toxic dangerous relationships
She gave me vibes of the coworker who always talks about herself and never shut up, and you always try to avoid her because you know that once she starts, she will never end 😂
😂 You're reminding me if that married "victim" on the show who worked part-time at a dental office. She said none of her friends and family know about the scammer but her coworkers know. I thought, I bet she clears out the breakroom whenever she walks in! 😂
I'm glad to see this comment. That was what struck me, too. All her excuses about the reason why he might actually need the money; yet, she doesn't once question that even if she accepts he's real but the story is bs, the guy was still willing to let her believe he would steal from some orphan to advance his career.
@@dashopepper i even went back to see if i missed something regarding that but no, she completely accepted he was stealing it from an orphaned child lol.
"I don't want my daughter involved," then stop givng out your personal address to random people. These people drive me crazy doing things like this. Stop giving strangers access to your children!
I wouldn't even let a date pick me up at my house. OR. Apartment.Or let them see what I am driving ..They can get ⁵Get your license plate..Don't wear you jewelry. KEEP YOUR PHONE AWAY FROM THEM...E Mail they can get your IP. Addres and find out where you live..NEVER EVER tell them se live in A HOUSE or apartment. Let them think you Have a roommate. Or live with Your brother
Well at least she didn’t lose any money, and she asked for advice, so that’s the best outcome we can have. My mom had someone talk to her and as I was seeing she was chatting so much I was asking, and I was when I heard it, apprehensive, he supposedly was from USA, a doctor moved to Europe, for work, and lonely, his son was home in boarding, his wife passed away … and I’m like him just weird, mom, and I told her if he ever asks for money don’t do it. And sure enough after 4 weeks or so he did, for his son supposedly. She blocked him right away. And he tried calling her, and it was clearly from Nigeria, that was the end of, I had wanted she Had not blocked yet. I would have played it’s him some longer haha. But here it is, we don’t believe it, and we are real, but their is this maybe girl like that what all these Roman’s are about l and so many books sold, that could it be…
"I don't like men with locks. What attracted me was the scenery." Stop the cap! Fay is just a pick me, and she admitted it about her baby's father. She recognizes that man wouldn't pick her, but this "rich man" who needs your money isn't playing? This is insane.
I guess his dreadlocks made him so unattractive holistically, tt she could only be spiritually attracted to him 😂😂😂 Clearly his six-pack was repulsive😂😂😂
I don't think she thought about him stealing for an orphan. She saw a beautiful black man who pretended to be interested and that overrode her common sense. We've all played the full one time. Not to the tune of $32k but definitely something else. Ijs
@@allhailthequeen906 i get it when you're a teenager. But being a middle aged women ,teaching kids, being all flustered and excited by hot guys pictures on the computer just seems so weird.
Yea like wtf is wrong with this lady? If an orphan boy had that (which he doesn't obviously, but if he did) that amulet would be able to get him and his fellow orphans out of poverty. But instead, it sounds like her and her mystery man were going to use that for themselves
It’s like something out of Indiana Jones! 😂 This is a movie plot, not reality! Who falls for this (because orphans always have royal-looking jewels in the family 😂) and thinks it’s fine to steal it! I am 💀! 😂
And somehow this boy in an orphanage had a father who owned a $15 million necklace. And that father left him in an orphanage but also loved him enough to leave the necklace to him... right
Out of all the people who get scammed, I don’t feel sorry for this one. She was willing to scam an orphan child. I am actually sad she didn’t send him more money and lose it 😎
Could it be that people who work as caregivers of some sort are more prone to fall for those kind of scams? A lot of women in this show told that they got caught in the story because they felt they had to help someone, many time a child..
They are more empathic and enthusiastic. Their good and forgiving nature is giving to others but unfortunately, it makes them perfect for taking advantage of too.
Yeah. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a more obvious scammer. It’s like he’s testing just how gullible she is by going through the "obvious scammer" checklist. She met all the requirements for super-easy scamming, so here we are.
Beautifully put…these scammers prey on loneliness, insecurities, and the yearning for human love. She was simply lonely and they hooked lined and sinkered her lol sad
so she drank wine from a stranger…gave a stranger her address when she had a young daughter…was okay with him stealing from an orphan….what is going on 💀💀
The loneliness seems to be such a big thing possibly a lack of self esteem possibly played a big role. That people need someone handsome and attractive to feel better with themselves.
These women always claim "he's not my type", "I wasn't that attracted to him", and say it's his personality that drew them in. I'm sure there are plenty of local guys in their league that would love to date them and treat them right. None of these people are giving average looking people thousands of dollars.
Right my least favorite part is when they make it seem so nonchalant when they tell the story of how they started talking then they show their actual texts 💀
Wait, so in the beginning he told Fay that a little boy living in his Orphanage inherited the necklace. But then without explanation, it's his necklace??? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LITTLE BOY? lmao
Him: "I own an orphanage in Ghana, and if you'll help me, I'm going to steal the inheritance of one of the orphans so we can live a good life together!"... Her: "Awww That's a nice gesture!" 😂🤣🤣😂TF??
Just because you have an education doesn't mean you have common sense of. She acts like a teenager. Hopefully this experience will be another college degree for her.
You’d be surprised how many women stop maturing in their teens. Emotional outbursts, short term decision making, etc as full grown adults. Sure, some men are like that but we don’t give ‘em an excuse. With women we accept it like they can’t grow up
Yes, why did she agree to do this video??? Her daughter is right at the age where her peers might make fun of her for something like this. She wasn't thinking of her daughter at all ...
Thats the issue for me - people are selfish , when you have a kid YOUR LIFE is on hold you need a licence for a dog , a fishing rod ( UK ) to drive ,but you can breed at will & no one even thinks this is an issue ?
You need a license in the UK to own a fishing rod? I know about their draconian pocket knife laws, but this is new. What the fuck is going on over there?
Not to mention the fact that she's a teacher and parents of children in her class could see, or the administration at the school. This is definitely not something I'd want out there if I was on her career path.
My thing is this she said he didn't ask me for no money yet kinda like she's use to giving up money to guys. I'm going out on the limb and say sometimes people might not put every little nook a cranny in there story. Kinda forget to tell the part about how much she already gave I could be wrong if I am my bad it is what it is
Yeah she’s vile. Prepared to steal from an orphan in an orphanage. She also spoke about amputees as if they’re not human. She’s disgusting. If I was her employer, I would fire her. She can’t be trusted around kids. Vile woman.
Fake himbo is willing to steal 15 million dollars from an orphan but he's polite and respectful so it's fine? Lady your internet boyfriend is literally the villain from a Charles Dickens novel!
@@gillmiller3702maybe he did not promise, but it is assumed that men share their wealth with women they love. Do you think that millionaire boyfriend/ husband would allow woman he loves to live in poverty, especially if she sacrificed for him.
Rule of thumb; only date people online, that look like people who are typically attracted to you in real life. “Modellesque” people wont magically be attracted to you just because you are online. Harsh, but true 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
She’s actually not an ugly or rough looking person plus I’ve witnessed super good looking people by western society standards date marry or even have children with “regular” or decent normal people quote on quote There’s someone for everybody But her red flags was that he’s a celebrity and she didn’t video chat him
Funnily enough I was contacted by a guy who looks very similar to this guy. Fitness model, almost 2 m tall, it was the most gorgeous man I've ever seen. When he messaged me on a dating site, me being a overweight single mom in my mid 30s, I was raging at him, calling him out for being a scammer, I was so furious on how he targeted a single mom. This circus went on for two weeks, him sending me videos proofing he was real, talking on the phone several times and so on. Eventually he gave up. Two weeks later I met him in real life, out clubbing. Turns out he was real, seeing this god created perfect man walk by me and my jaw just dropped. His first words to me was "well hello (my name) you really have trust issues 😅" So yeah it has happened once in history that a model contacted a average looking woman on social media and turned out to be real. 😂 I however was the angriest bitch alive because I have watched so much catfish I was sure he was fake haha 😂
@GHO5tMod3 Here we go again. This is simply NOT true. You are referring to that one exception. They probably met a long time ago in high school or something if they end up together. This is not the norm.
He said thank you for being a fan/supporting him but she wasn’t following him nor did she use IG. And she thought that made sense. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Exactly !!! how hard is it to reverse image search ? how easy WOULD it have been to do that on that jewellery ? its unreal how dim people are . No wonder this happens daily
But God forbid they had a stomach ache and a headache they'd be going to Dr google and be convinced they had cancer, aortic aneurysms, and Parkinson's.
And laughing about it the whole time. Like, "Silly me! I don't wear a lot of jewelry, ha ha ha. I don't use a lot of Instagram. I don't care if he's a 600 pound amputee. Ha, ha, ha, I'm just a girlish teen with a crush and I don't know anything. Thanks guys for doing a search that I could have done myself. But it all makes sense. Hopefully, I can move on." No, you haven't learned a thing and are just laughing about it instead of taking responsibility.
@@VashtiPerry Yeah as an aspiring bodybuilder I can say that man has an amazing physique, his body type is a goal for many men. But I'm sure it was just the island scenery 😂
@@junemarshall-kingsley566that flip comment about "a 600 pound amputee" got to me. The giggling, girly mask slipped for a moment and we got a glimpse of the ugly person behind - the one who thinks nothing of stealing from an orphan and who sees disabled people as less
I wish these people would stop saying "for all I know he could he obese!" or "for all I know he could be disabled!" So disgusting. For about 60% of these "victims" it really is just karma
So, this is a teacher and she wants to know if her online top model BF who lives in the UK is real in order to help him steal a few millions from some fake kid in Africa? I am really sad for the younger generation when the adults in their lives are this delusional and malicious.
Stop calling these relationships. And yet another woman with kids giving a total stranger her address. As a teacher she should know to prioritise children's safety
Not always. My friends brother in law just got catfished from a 45 year old lady in Thailand. This same jewelry scam. She was good looking but no model. They do steal average people's pictures and stuff too. I'm shocked how gullible people can be.
The fact that 99% of these people don’t FaceTime their catfish really tells me that they know it’s fake but just want to enjoy the fantasy at least on a subconscious level. They know there’s something not right.
The scammer always has an excuse about why they can’t video chat. And no matter how lame the explanation, the victim will be satisfied since they want to believe.
When they start re-telling the convoluted story for Social Catfish, the obvious BS comes out of their mouths and into their ears and that's when they start to sound insecure.
They have to make the scam stories so dumb that if the pigeon doesn’t immediately bust out laughing they know they’ve got their mark . The scammer has no interest in wasting time with anyone who has an IQ higher than the temperature in January
I suppose it's possible if they had all their money assigned to a trust until hes 18 or something and they died... Idk, but it is def a weird story. they always are.
And they were planning to steal it from the orphan, and she was gonna help. Ridiculous. Plus the necklace look like he just picked up the first expensive necklace from google.
She's willing to help ruin an orphaned child's life, she's mocking amputated people, she thinks she's smart and deep by saying she's not attracted to this man. I'm willing to bet her ex isn't as bad as she says. He probably saw all this side of her and ran for it.
@@athenafearon3853Alll these people try to lie and say this. They all know how foolish they look when all it took was a good looking person giving them the time of day for them to behave this stupidly.
If someone , even if it was my close family member, told me that he was going to steal from an orphan, I’d get really pissed off , This woman deserves to be scammed .
most teachers are dumb in USA, thats why China is passing them up. China pays the teachers way less too lol, ppl in america say "if we pay our teachers more blah blah blah" while all asian countries pay teachers way less and students somehow are 10x smarter still in asia. seems like its not the teachers pay like dumb USA ppl think.
Leon is married with a kid. All she had to do was Google him and she would have found that info she was looking for. I don't feel sorry for her. She believed what she wanted to believe . She talked or texted every day.
Exactly. I don't understand how these people come to catfished for answers, when they can look up these instagram models or do reverse Google images themselves. Ignorance is bliss I guess
It's getting harder and harder to feel bad for these supposed victims when they're trying to cheat on their significant others, or apparently trying to rob an orphan of their inheritance.
It's willful ignorance on their part. Most of these scams can be seen through with a few minutes of shallow googling, but if they refuse to look, there's a chance it could be real, right? lol
Same story every time. If the victim’s friends or family learn what’s going on, and spend 5 minutes using their brains, they’ll find out it’s a scam. But of course the victims never want to hear that, and just think their family & friends are jealous (and of course the scammers will play that up if they find out).
Oh, don’t worry, the orphan gave it to him! 🤣🤣🤣 It’s always hilarious when the victim is forced to tell the story, and watching them crumble as they realize how crazy it all really sounds.
Ehm, are we overlooking the fact that this scammer concocted a story where they essentially stole a $15 million necklace from a little orphan boy, who inherited it from his dying father, and she had no qualms in participating in the suffering of this child to secure a future for herself and her daughter? Granted, it was all just a scam; however, she believed it to be true.
