Thanks Lorna for sharing this beautiful experience. This was so heartwarming and comforting to hear. It has made my day. You are a lovely woman. Im from the North and between 1995 and 1997 i worked as a painter in Naas County Kildare. That was two of the happiest years of my life and i made many friends while i was there and it left me with great memories. One of those memories featured a trip to Maynooth College where i surprised my old friend Ciaran who came from the same town as me and was one year younger. He was training to become a priest and was ordained a short time after our meeting. He hadnt seen me for years and was delighted that i looked him up and he said it was a great surprise and we went for a nice dinner together and talked about old times and when we came back to Maynooth he took we on a sightseeing tour of the college explaining a lot of its history to me and i found it all very interesting. Ciaran is still a priest and is in charge of a parish in Donegal. He turns 60 in November and i turn 61 in September. He still has a wee house here at home not far from me and when he gets a break from his pastoral work he comes home and i would see him out walking his wee dog and we would have a good chat. Sorry for rambling on Lorna but when you said you lived in Maynooth and i lived for those two years in Naas which is not far from you, i wanted to tell you that wee story. Actually for the first 6 months i lived in Newbridge before moving to Naas where i painted over 100 new houses. I have a question...Lorna said when she had her near death experience, that even though she loved her children, she did not want to come back. Fair enough, but then sometime after she had recovered, she met her husband and they had 4 children together. Therefore, was she married twice and had 2 sets of children, or is her memory failing her? Or is her entire story about seeing angels just one big fib? I can't decide.
