Here's the intro to Barbra Streisand's "Woman in Love". This is by request and it's a nice R&B-ish type of riff. Here's the tab to it if you'd like it. www.dropbox.com/s/7qg4k048bk3...
The reason I searched out this video is cause I was asking guitar player, friends, how they think that that opening riff was achieved. I love that sound and always wondered if that was a blend of guitars or some maybe something like a 12 string guitar but I think you demonstrated it can be done in one guitar.
Thanks for giving me the oppourtunity to learn this! Was one of my Grampa's fave songs! Im going to see if I can learn the rest of the song just from this little tutorial :)
so nice of you! I'm still working out the intro for this song that you gave such a wonderful tutorial. but if you can. the intro to can you hear me rocking by rolling stones. I've subbed your page so ill know when you give updates. thank you so much for taking the time to reply to me. i look forward to more of your lessons.cheers!!
Bom dia amigo se for possível faça um vídeo ensinando os solos da música San Francisco nights do cantor Harpo a introdução e o solo do meio da música gostaria muito de aprender um abraço espero que possa me ajudar .
Mark, my understanding is that Barry Gibb used the open G tuning on the guitar exclusively for composing/playing all The Bee Gees hits from the 70’s. Have you explored that tuning yourself?
Wow, that's interesting. I never heard that. I played open G and open D quite a bit 15 years ago when I was into Celtic music and folk and roots blues. It's a lot of fun to just explore and find new riffs.
