You know society is fucked, because the real reason people are mad is the privilege to be able to make healthy food from scratch while also affording to have a parent be a stay at home living in luxury. People aren't pissed at her. They're pissed at how fucked the economy is.
Clearly she just did this for the video. If anyone's child actually asked for a sandwich, no one is going to spend hours making the whole thing from scratch, they'll just make sandwich.
Same! I came here to say the same thing. Also she isn’t a “stay at home mom” she is a model, and her family is amazing, I love her husband and the way people give her so much shit for her lifestyle, her kids names FR leave this queen alone!
It’s called slow living. for a lot of people, including myself there’s a lot of joy in doing these types of things. These are life skills that could come in handy when there’s food shortages as we all found out during 2020..It’s not for everyone, but clearly this woman enjoyed doing this for her daughter.
It's a shame these kinds of skills are disappearing. Cursive handwriting, cooking, sewing, etc. Maybe cursive isn't so important anymore but knowing some home economics stuff is very helpful.
This is what I think people don’t like lol. She leaves out just how highly produced it all is. Something like this would take several hours to do. Your kid would starve in that time lol. If she were more honest about realistic timing and planning the meals it would seem less crazy
"Something like this would take several hours to do." - no, it woundn't. One or two hours? Sure, but not several. I mean, I imagine most of do the time would be waiting for bread to grow, but some recepies need only half an hour to do that and at that time you make jam (not that hard from raspberries, you don't need to skin it and cut) and peanut butter (very fast if you have already skinned out peanuts).
I think about 50% of the people acting up is just the JUST CANT that she actually knows how to do this and is more impressed by it and like the other 50% are all Haters.
@@KazumiKuwabara Nothing she made was difficult to make though, time consuming sure, but not difficult. I am more annoyed by the implication she did that and the child got that quickly, maybe the original video says it took longer idk. Granted lying about stuff like how long it took is par for the course on social media. Like the kid asks for a PB&J and the mother is like, “sure, I’ll go make one, just wait the 4-5 hours while the dough proofs, baked, and cooled. I’ll make peanut butter (that’s not hard) and jam, hopefully it’ll set in time teehee (which it won’t if you do it right)”.
She seems like a very caring mother and seems like she enjoys making stuff like this from scratch if she has the dedication to do this for her young daughter. I think its so sweet and i hope she does enjoy it :]!
As soon as I saw her face I thought she had spent quiet a bit on surgery. It also looks like she has plenty of money and time to do this which most don’t. I don’t think making home made bread should make someone a good mom. It is over the top and unnecessary. Kids will turn out fine without home made bread
@fionasmith-bz8ox i never said thats the only thing that made her a good mom also regardless of what she does to her body isnt your business i said she seemed caring because she enjoys to do stuff like that for her daughter not that shes just an absolute perfect mom over bread. Because she’s in full face and a gown even though she says the first thing she did was get the sandwich ready. And if you know kids they’re fussy cause they’re kids, that child did not ask for a pb&j and then wait for hours for it to proof. It’s just a lie for content, she can make this from scratch that’s fine, but erasing the reality is a problem. Also no one had a problem with this other than the possible Mormon propaganda
Back in my day, my mom would make my little 5 year old self make my own food or wait for food till she woke up, once I had made myself a sandwhich...it was two peices of bread with a tomatoe cut horizontally, this woman is doing amazing work and her kids can enjoy good quality food (I'm a 2011 child btw)

This! She has the time to do this and I don’t think she shaded anyone who doesn’t do what she does. Why can’t we just learn from each other? Her peanut butter looked so good and easy to make.
She has the time? No one has the time if you have a young toddler waiting for their food 😂😂😂 They want sandwiches and they want them now 😂 Only if you don't mind having a screaming toddler for about 2 hours until you finish that homemade jam...😂
@@cherub6958 it's in response to ppl trying to frame it as if she's asking anyone or telling anyone what to with their life and how to cook their meals etc. She has the resources and time to fix this food as is, and ppl should stop complaining about her being able to do so, as if she's at fault here. @RM-vd2ih You realize 22 year old women have been getting married and making babies for centuries, right? You act like this is something new. At least she has a family and isn't a single bitter woman in her 30's/40's that think being a mother is a weakness.
Actually, her toddler must have a nanny lol. That kitchen is $$$$ wealthyyyy. Plus, any parent knows that no toddler is waiting more than 10 seconds for food 😂 let alone the hours of time it took for her Mama to get up, take a shower, do her makeup, gather ingredients, set up her camera and change camera angles, and make everything including bread (which takes time to rest the dough, then bake) from scratch. Then edit the video together for TikTok. She’s likely a stay-at-home wife, not a stay-at-home mom. Ask any stay-at-home mom. 😂 this would have all been more realistic if she had made this the night before, makeup, baking, cooking, editing, recording and all.
Probably not, but a parent knows how to manage that.. when you don't wait till everyone is hungry before you start thinking about food, it helps a lot too.
I currently have homemade bread and homemade peanut butter in my pantry and made pb&j with it yesterday. Haven’t gotten to home made jelly yet, but I’m getting there!

@@MJ-lh2goit could be something cultural. @@AmethystOcean98 maybe try getting really good with one thing from scratch that you use often. For me it was pasta and bread. Slowly buy the good tools and build your kitchen from there. I kneed everything by hand. 10 years into cooking from scratch. Still building out our kitchen. You can do this.
At least you realize that is a toxic trait which recognition allows you to work on that trade if you want to change it. I will tell you you do not need a perfectly cleaned stocked kitchen or a bunch of fancy bowls mixing spoons bakeware etc. If you have a wooden bowl and a wooden spoon you can make bread if you have a little saucepan that you got from the thrift store you can make jam. Part of the reason you probably think the way you do is because of how our society presents everything in a non-realistic non-sustainable way for people who don't have a lot of money. That is not your fault and if you do want to try and change that start small would be my suggestion. Make small little changes and over time they will grow into bigger changes as you find the joy in eating things that you have made from scratch. My first suggestion would be don't buy cookie dough at the store and make cookies from scratch. They're easier and less temperamental than bread. If you want to learn how to make bread from scratch that's great and I would suggest starting with flatbreads because you don't have to worry about the leavening agents so like tortillas or naan are good options to start with for flatbreads. Really basic really easy and you don't have to wait for the dough to rise.
It’s just insane the amount of people that think this takes so much more time and money. Probably took her about 30-40 minutes and that was the baking of the bread. It’s not that time consuming at all to cook from scratch. I’ve watched a few of her videos. She’s a really good cook, and she seems to very much enjoy cooking for her family.
What you've got to remember too, is that it is just content. This is how she makes her living... by showing an aesthetically pleasing way to live, albeit unrelatable. She makes money from this. Most mothers with young children can't afford to be making everything from scratch, and that's okay.
Most families actually could afford to make a lot of stuff from scratch if they wanted. Healthy food might be expensive in LA but it’s not expensive everywhere else compared to how expensive bad food now costs. Like chicken and dumping from scratch is easy and cheap and you can make a lot. People make the price as an excuse without even looking. Also there is cheaper stores there is coupons. This is not relatable because nobody does this anymore. We prefer to eat shit that makes us all fat then putting effort into our food which I fall under that as well. I work like everyday so I’m tired and get fast food. McDonald’s is super expensive for what you get. A large fry is like almost $6. You can by a huge bag of potatoes on sale for like $3 (did recently) and make homemade fries for much cheaper, also much cheaper then the frozen bags. Like cherries are expensive and certain fruit but there is plenty that’s not. If people can afford Starbucks everyday they sure can afford to make more food from scratch.
It's not necessarily the fact of money but it cost time to do things homemade. Not every one has the time. I think if you do and can, that's great! The cool thing is with the access to information that we have we can do a lot of homemade things with some shortcuts to save you time. Or maybe you just make the bread from scratch and purchase your PB and Jelly. It's all a balance of cost vs time and you figure out where you want to spend each of those
@kristianamarie6762 I don't live in Northern America, but just as in the U.S.A. inflation and shrinkflation has made eating healthy (and eating unhealthily) very expensive. I come from a dairy/farming country, yet we locals have to pay export prices and see all our produce being shipped overseas. On top of that, we have no regulations or committee to set a max price on products, so depending which grocery store you go to you'll be paying a different price. Fruit and vege marts are generally cheaper but the cost of some produce is ridiculous; a quarter of a watermelon that is in mediocre condition is upwards of $8, a punnet of over ripe strawberries going sour is over $6, bananas are close to a dollar each... at one point a small floret of broccoli was $4 (thankfully it's gone down to $2 now), and do you want to guess how much potatoes are? Depends on the type but the cheapest brand, which is the supermarkets own name brand, is $13.99 for 4kgs. Back to dairy... a kg of the cheapest tasty (like your cheddar but without orange dye added) is $20 for a kg block, a litre of milk is almost $4. And don't even get me started on meat, poultry and fish! You're right about one thing, though... fast food has become ridiculously expensive. A McDonald's breakfast meal, including a bacon egg McMuffin, a hash brown and orange juice, is about $16. A Big Mac on its own is $9.60. So most people on minimum wage or on a benefit here can't afford that, let alone Starbucks. Also, we don't get "coupons" like you do. It's not a thing in our country. I respect that you take accountability, but you also shouldn't assume other people aren't trying hard enough or aren't looking at price tags, as you put it. To make matters worse the U.S. dollar is almost double our dollar. So anything we import is crazy expensive.
So I've heard about her she's extremely wealthy and rich and so is her husband who's on model or something and advertising so they're very rich and they don't have full-time jobs and they don't really have a normal life like everyone else so I don't know how long this will keep up but I don't like her she's flaunting her amazing lifestyle and she can cook everything from scratch Good for you keep doing it leave us alone
The thing is these ingredients are so easy to make from scratch. This is totally something i would do for my daughter as someone who doesnt love store bought processed foods AND sees sharing good food as a love language. Its not crazy, its just doing a little extra to show love and nourish her baby
@@abriishpotato4729 she means foods that are processed an unnecessary amount and retain little to no actual nutritional value. Perhaps she should use the word over processed.
This is what we use to do before thing got modified look at your grandparents history thats the best way to make your meals good for her ,her kids will love her for it. ❤
She is at home for a reason, to give the best possible care she can provide for her children. When I was a stay at home mom all of my son’s food from the time he could eat, was made from scratch!! WAY TO GO MOMMA❤
Senior bachelor that works from home. Making my meals from scratch is the highlight of my day and probably the biggest turn on for my female companions.
There's nothing wrong with that. I love going way out of my way to make my son something tasty from scratch. Its awsome seeing a big smile on your kids face while their eating something that's not full of Preservatives and only God knows what.
I mean, it's super cool that she made everything from scrap but i can only imagine how impatient the toddler would be waiting for all that to be done 😂
