A woman has publicly detailed long-standing allegations of sexual assault against Axl Rose, dating back to the 1980s when she was a minor. Michelle Rhoades, who previously spoke about her claims in a press conference, recently elaborated on her experiences in a podcast.
Rhoades alleges she met Rose at 15, and their relationship quickly turned sexual. She claims she became pregnant and miscarried during a Guns N’ Roses show at the Troubadour. Afterward, she confronted Rose at the band's rehearsal space. According to Rhoades, Rose reacted violently, and she was assaulted by him and others, eventually raped. She was later thrown out of the studio naked but was helped by a neighboring band member.
Rhoades' mother’s boyfriend, Vince Gilbert, confirmed picking her up from the studio and later took her to her mother’s house. Gilbert also reported that band members, including Duff McKagan, pressured Rhoades not to pursue legal action. Rhoades eventually decided not to press charges due to mental distress, though Rose reportedly apologized to her later.
This account aligns with some elements from past books and memoirs about Guns N' Roses, though details have varied.
