I heard one of the indication that a dog is stressed or scared is when they stay still, while their eyes move around so much to the point the white parts are exposed.
I think she works with Hope for Paws. They're based out of L.A. The vet she brought the dog to, looked just like the place in the hope for Paws videos. If you have never seen any of their videos on YT, you should, they are a fantastic organization that helps so many animals.
@@jaycolbs3251 Yeah that's what I thought. Isn't that the Lady from Hope for Paws too? There's a blonde Lady like Her on that Channel a lot who goes out doing the rescues. And They always use cheeseburgers on there too
To be honest it always kinda ruins these stories for me. These dogs that have been abandoned have had their trust broken before, so you spend weeks regaining it only to give them up, how does that not break their trust again?

@@nickyshaw7677 Because burgers have dogs' two favorite things: meat and bread. They are a great way to build trust. I use vienna sausages but that's only because that's typically what I have in the house..
I was thinking: "oh, this vet looks so similar as Hope For Paws' vet". And at the end it turned out it's Lisa Chiarelli so this IS Hope For Paws' vet :)
Gesture is nice, but the fact that we are responsible for deforestation, taking animals natural habitat and offering them shelter,parks, zoo's, offering controlled environment, making them forget their basic instincts is bizarre.
Only in America: feeding dogs with cheeseburgers. Kudos to the lady, she is a great person but please: don't feed your dogs with any fast foods. They are even more harmful to dogs than to humans.
One cheeseburger/greasy meat for a treat every once in a while won't hurt a dog. Once or twice my vet told me to give my dog bacon because the grease helped her dry skin condition. Also, In fact fast food is more "smelly" than regular and is better for catching street dogs/getting their attention for a trap, practice has proven this. One rescuer used Vegan burgers and other items not fast food to prove that point in a video once - the dogs reacted only to the smelliest stuff, they just ran away from other stuff thrown at them.
@WeeStrom CO Guy I'm sorry you're like this.... But my golden retriever lived to be 17. And my pit who we got 11 years ago is still running next to my bike everyday 3 miles...And yes you can give a dog hamburger meat and a bun every week or so, The change in diet is better for them than feeding them the same thing every day for years on end. That can cause allergies and gastrointestinal problems later in life. PEOPLE CHANGE YOUR DOGS MEAT NOT BRAND EVERY BAG OR 2, Dog will thank you and will live longer. Also RUN THEM!!! Don't go for a walk.. Either run Or bike with them, They will live longer, And so will you! Other than that you guys need to chill and just love dogs like we are all here for. M'kay?

Yes I think that's Lisa from Hope for paws she got a cheeseburger and Converse all Stars on her feet. If that isn't Lisa then God has two children on his team saving dogs. And eldad on Hope for paws, is one of the finest human beings on the planet.
That woman was amazing going there everyday to get that dog I did that with a cat once and I finally got him after 12 days and he’s at home with me to this day he’s an amazing cat as well. This dog sure got a great family

Once again I have to say how very sad I am for the hundreds of people who have clicked dislike on this video. They couldn't possibly understand about the bond between these sweet dogs and those who rescue and take care of them. So happy for Zena though and the woman who didn't give up on her. Many tail wags.

At the end when she realizes this is her forever home she's a completely different dog. She went from living on the streets with her tail tucked in all the time to being able to let go of that fear of humans and loving on them and tail up and waging all the time❤
She's been waiting her whole life t be loved and cherished. It's beautiful to see her happy and valued. Thank you, ladies. I've missed you both on another huge rescue channel.
Xena was the name of my childhood pittie, she was the best dog. She was an aggressive cuddler, wasn't happy unless she was pressed to your side with her face mashed against yours. Still miss that girl.

My neighbor got a cute german shepherd puppy, well the owner got hit by this senior citizen (hey guys if you can't see, DON'T drive!) she ran off and I could not find her. Thankfully she was chipped, it's scary.
What a pretty girl. BTW, I've never met a nasty Pit Bull, Chihuahuas? LOTS. I'm old enough to remember when German Shepherds were feared, then Dobermans.
Katie Drew my pitbull was bite by a tiny tiny chihuahua and now she’s scared of them and hides behind me when we see a small dog. She could have defended herself and easily taken care of the problem but she didn’t do anything. I grab the chihuahua and pulled her off. Smh

Wow! What an amazing person. Thank you so much for not giving up on these beautiful animals. I used to have an all black pit bull just like her but male.
