Girlll I'm screaming!! I went thru a breakup in December and went thru so many changes! I got my certification in personal training/cardio kickboxing,became a published author and wrote an ebook(available on Amazon), enrolled into nursing school, started roster dating(got a boo in Portugal,LA,ATL,NY and Alabama 😂),started a small RU-vid channel and LASTLY even treated myself to Beyonce tickets 😩😂😩😩😩😩 I took a"better me"to another level bebe 😩😩
Chiiiilllllleee a break up will definitely play with your emotions. Playing songs, crying, jogging, eating ice cream, staying off social media...for a week...the list is endless.
Chiiile, I started a business, got my first passport ever, started solo traveling out of the Country, changed my wardrobe and about a year after, met someone else. 😂😂😂
Honestly if I didn’t just cry, I would have taken much longer to get over the relationship. I’m at the point where I would never advise someone to just “move on” because it was very therapeutic to feel what I was feeling in the moment. 10 years, a husband and 2, almost 3 babies later, my best friend showing me screenshots of him reaching out to her trying to find me. I’m long gone boo. It was fun while it lasted ✌🏽
Oh wow. I am so glad you moved on, got married, and had kids. It's interesting that 10 years later he tried to reach back. That is exactly how some men play games. He literally would have been playing games with you for 10 years. It's like those people you see who have been engaged forever, but they never get married. I don’t hate him and made peace with the situation, but I don’t have anything to say to him either 🤷🏽♀️ He was certainly a game player. He wanted us to be single but by us, he meant him! This hit me in all the feels. I was there and decided he was not worthy of the mental and emotional energy I was expending on him. I am in a lot better place these days and I guess he is still walking the earth somewhere.

My adult daughter and I were just talking about this. This has been us at some point in our lives. I was so into “me” I dropped down to a size small. And that was too small for me. It’s all about remembering your worth, as well as, being and staying focused in a relationship or not. 🎯
I dropped down to a small also and like you, it was too small. But I am glad to have left 'cause among other things, he told me I wasn't attractive to him with the weight I had gained (I was a whole 145lbs when I left).

And when the enemy attacks your thoughts and tries to convince you that it's a waste of time, keep doing it. It will get down in the insides of you. Back in the day in church, when the deacons we're praying they'd something like "something on the inside, showing up on the outside". And it's true if you address the messages in your head it will show up in your life and you will find yourself comfortable in your own skin. 💜

We need a part 2 with Fj , how men act after a break up. It hurts but you will get over it. The DON'T list= do not call, stalk, destroy property, harm people . The DO list = eat right, exercise, go out with your friends and family and act like you have some sense.
I've never been that woman after a breakup but i am the friend that helps thru a breakup. I have had many girls night post breakup up weekends. Im buying matching pj's, bottles of wine, ordering take out, snacks, movies, music and were having a slumber party. But, you only gonna get that one wknd out of me so you better do all the cussing, screaming, crying u gonna do during that one wknd.
Girl the first week after a breakup is the absolute worst!! Crying and eating everything enrolled at the gym. Don't go out might see him. Sleeping all day and crying some more. Then the light bulb goes girl it's for the best get yourself back. Then you run into him and start the cycle all over again. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Maybe I was never in love! 😂 I never went through anything like that before! I was always making the initial calls and with no return calls back. One day I said I would let him call me. Didn’t call. I moved on! 1 year later a random “I miss you” text popped up 🙄 Needless to say I ignored that message 😂
@@christinalafleur3813 If you really think about it. Think about your relationships, along with the relationships of your friends, mother, aunts, etc… a lot of my friends that those men were more of a burden than anything else.

I just broke up yesterday with a person..3rd breakup..but I prayed and asked God to help me be strong ..and I know He did it cause after being here since Saturday night, I didn’t want him touching me anymore..and after he left yesterday I felt tremendous relief and peace! Definitely no tears!
I was looking for a comment like this. I've done every one of the things she's mentioned or have started working towards them (like getting another degree 😅). I'll be praying for the both of you in a little while, as I pray for myself. We'll get through to the "other side" in due time and with God's help and may God lead us to the men that will truly be our partners for life.

I'm learning! Thank you for your honesty and testimony because I'm done with everyone too. Family, "friends", lovers, over it. All I need is Jesus at this point. He gave me my daughter that's my only relationship now. I'll pray for them & I'll help them financially because God blessed me but no more access.

@@djheaven555 Thank you for those kind words. I've read some unnecessary hateful comments elsewhere on Obama's internet when someone says they have no dating or relationship experience. I've lived life, had friends and hobbies, went to college and graduated ( a long, long time ago lol), went to church, worked jobs, bought what I wanted to, etc. Everything but date and that's fine with me.
