The Quran doesn't encourage the husband to raise his hand. when woman is misbehaving in certain conditions such as neglecting her duties as a believer not as woman then there are three steps for the husband to deal with her: 1. to advise her and if she doesn't respond, 2. to refrain from physical relationship with her. 3. if she is still misbehaving then he should keep away from her and Allah ended the verse by "Allah is ever Exalted and Grand". Meaning that the man should never transgress and use his power because Allah is more powerful and grand.

Yahsua / Jesus / Isa is God In the Qur'an (Part 1) The Qur'an has many passages that show that Jesus (Isa) displays many attributes of Allah - that Jesus is God: 1) Allah can speak in parables (Surah 24:35; Surah 14:25). Jesus speaks in parables in the Bible that no other prophet ever told (Matthew 13:34, 35; Psalms 78:2; Isaiah 6:9, 10). 2) Allah will return on the clouds on the Last Day (Surah 2:210). Jesus will return on the clouds (Revelation 1:7; Mark 13:26; Acts 1:9-11; Daniel 7:13). 3) Allah will judge mankind (Surah 6:57; Surah 7:87). El-Bokhary explained that he heard from Ibn Abbas, who had heard the Prophet Mohammed saying about Christ, "The Last Day will not come until the son of Mary comes back as a fair Judge to administer justice and wipe out injustice." The Bible also says that Jesus will judge mankind (John 5:22; Romans 2:16; Jude 1:14, 15; 1 Samuel 2:10; Psalm 7:6-8; Psalm 94:1-2; Isaiah 9:6). 4) Allah can create (Surah 6:102; Surah 15:86; Surah 22:73). The Qur'an also teaches that Jesus creates as well (Surah 3:49; Surah 5:110). 5) only Allah can heal (Surah 26:80). Mohammed said in an authentic Hadith, "Oh, Allah, there is no healing but yours." Meanwhile, in the Qur'an we find Christ saying about Himself, "I heal those born blind, and the lepers" (Surah 3:49). The Bible also discusses that Messiah will heal (Matthew 9:35; Matthew 8:5-17; Mark 5:34; Exodus 15:26; Psalm 107:19-21; Isaiah 53:4-5). 6)only Allah has the power over life and death (Surah 15:23; Surah 36:12; Surah 50:43). In his book Beginning and End, Ibn Kathir tells a verified story of Islam that proves Christ had the authority to give death as well as life. It is told that Christ saw a woman crying over her daughter, who had died long ago. He asked her, "What makes you cry, woman?" She said, "My daughter died and I have no more children." Christ asked her, "Would you like Me to raise her from the dead?" She said, "Yes, O Spirit of God!" So, Christ stood by the grave and called the girl three times. On the third time, the little girl came out and talked with her mother. Then the girl asked Christ to let her return. He told her, "Go back!" The grave closed and she was dead. (Beginning and End by Ibn Kathir, part 2, page 84). The Bible teaches that Jesus has power over life and death (Luke 7:13-15; Matthew 9:25; John 11:43-44; Matthew 27:52-53; Matthew 28:5-7; Revelation 1:18). 7) only Allah is Omniscient and therefore can be Judge (Surah 27:65; Surah 6:59). @@ivarolsen3841 whether cultural or religious, Mary wore Hijab. It's a fact. You know that in ancient period religions were the basis to shape the cultural notion of a community. For example, in India many cultural traditions are related to religious regulations.Therefore cultural and religious diversity should be acceptable in any country. Btw Quran orders both men and women to wear garments/dress to cover their bodies and luxury (7:26). Both men and women are ordered to subdue their eyes and maintain their chastity. Women are additionally ordered to cover their chest as well as not to strike their feet when they walk in a way that it reveals certain details of their body (i.e. cat walk, dancing etc.). They are ordered to cover their body, except that which is necessary (palm, feet, face in case of necessity). The zist of these requirements are mentioned in 24:30-31. Women are required to lengthen their dress (33:59). So the main point is both men and women are required to dress modestly. And covering hair is just a cultural thing. Many non muslim women (nuns; jews; buddhists and hindus in South, south east and far east asia; orthodox christians in middle east and eastern Europe) cover their head. It's their way of life.

Question: "How is the Christian religion different from all the other world religions?" Answer: Religion is the practice of faith; that is, religion is the external or ceremonial observance of a set of beliefs. Technically, there is a difference between faith (the internal attitude) and religion (the external works), but for the sake of this article, we will define “Christian religion” broadly as “the faithful observance of the teachings of Jesus Christ and His apostles.” James 1:27 says that religion that is “pure and faultless” before God is “to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” In other words, care for the needy and personal virtue are externals which are present when one has a true love for God. And, since James specifies that he is speaking of “pure and faultless” religion, there must exist an “unclean and imperfect” type of religion as well-a religion not based on love for God. Here are five reasons why the Christian religion is better than non-Christian religions (why observing the teachings of Jesus Christ is better than not observing them): Christian religion - Jesus Christ is the Way to God. The Christian religion is better than other religions because that which leads to God is better than that which leads away from God. We have sinfully wandered away from God (Isaiah 53:6), and we need a Guide to lead us back. Jesus is that Way (John 14:6), the One to seek the lost (Luke 19:10). Jesus claims not to be one of many ways, but the one-and-only Way to God. He is, in fact, God Himself in human flesh (John 20:28), so to find Jesus is to find God. “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father,” He said (John 14:9). The Christian religion is unique in that it offers a close, intimate relationship with the personal God of the universe. Christian religion - Jesus Christ is the Truth. The Christian religion is better than other religions because things that are true are better than things that are false. Jesus is “the Truth” (John 14:6). He is the embodiment of truth, the revelation of God to humanity (Colossians 2:9), and the conveyor of God’s words (John 17:8). The Christian religion is grounded in truth, being based on a historical Person whose acts were verified by eyewitnesses and recorded by four different biographers. Parodies of Christianity often spring up through the work of “false prophets” (1 John 4:1), but only Jesus is true. In following Christ, Christians have the utmost regard for truth, as opposed to hollow externals and the hypocrisy of false appearances. The Christian religion is unique in that it forces us to face the truth about ourselves and speak the truth with others. Christian religion - Jesus Christ is the Life. The Christian religion is better than other religions because life is better than death and heaven is better than hell. Jesus is “the Life” (John 14:6); He is the source of life, and without Him one cannot truly live (John 1:4; 3:36; 5:24; 10:10). Jesus provides what we need: the Bread that satisfies forever (John 6:35), the Water that gives eternal life (John 4:14; 7:37-38), and the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25). These are more than empty claims; Jesus proved His ability to give life by raising from the dead Lazarus (John 11), Jairus’ daughter (Mark 5), and the boy from Nain (Luke 7). Then, after His own death on the cross, Jesus rose again the third day, having conquered death forever (Matthew 28). The Christian religion is unique in that it is based on the actual, physical resurrection of its Founder. Christian religion - Jesus Christ transforms mankind. The Christian religion is better than other religions because righteousness is better than wickedness. Other religions may impose conformity to a certain code of behavior, but they have no power to change the heart. Christianity teaches that the believer is “dead to sin” and now lives “in newness of life” (Romans 6:2, 4). The authenticating mark of a Christian is his transformation from practicing sin to having a zeal for good works (Titus 2:14; 2 Corinthians 5:17). The Christian’s zeal for doing good has resulted in the founding of countless orphanages, hospitals, clinics, schools, homeless shelters, and emergency relief agencies-all in the name of Christ. The Christian religion is unique in that it does not force change from without but revolutionizes lives from within. Christian religion - Jesus Christ is loving. The Christian religion is better than other religions because love is better than the absence of love. God is love (1 John 4:8, 16). Love is the greatest of His gifts to us (1 Corinthians 13:13)-not the fickle, so-called love of the world, but the selfless, unconditional love which always seeks to benefit the one loved. God showed His love for us in sending His one-and-only Son (John 3:16; 1 John 4:10). Jesus showed His love for us in providing for our salvation by dying on the cross (John 15:13). Jesus gave His followers a new command: “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:34-35). Love, not duty or debt, is what motivates the believer and impels him to greater humility and greater service for the kingdom of heaven. Christianity is unique in that it is not a system of rules but a celebration of unselfish love. “Love is the fulfillment of the law” (Romans 13:10). Man, in his creativity, has invented innumerable religions in his attempt to reach God. God, in His love, has given us the truth: the one religion, Christianity, in which God attempts to reach man.

1. as for witnessing. there are 3 types: a. witnessing in fights and that is exclusive for men. That is because women usually don't get involved in fights. b. witnessing in trades: one men and two women. and the reason for that is that women is more likely to forget things and this is scientifically proven especially in the case of pregnancy and after birth. c. witnessing the lineage: that is exclusively for women. Especially in the cases of breastfeeding. In Islam the wet nurse is considered as a mother for the baby who suckles her milk. Therefore the baby becomes a brother/sister of her own children. And only women can witness who is the brother/sister from the wet nurse. That is because men usually don't get involved in the breastfeeding business. 2. Tilth is where the reproduction happen and the child will come out of this relationship. 3. This verse is given in wrong translation and you must give the end of the verse. The Quran never said "scourge them" the word "Daraba" is for keeping distant from not scouring! The word "Daraba" used at least 20 times in the Quran in different verses in the Quran didn't mean "scourge". In most cases there is a meaning of distance and in this verse if a woman is misbehaving (such as scourging her kids) then the husband must proceed in three steps: a. to advise her. if she still doesn't behave then. b. to not have any physical relationship with her. if she still misbehaves then c. to keep distant from her. this verse ends with: Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand. reminding the man not to use their physical strength to abuse unjustly woman.
