Casey, I usually agree with most stuff. I will disagree with one thing, and that is having my cake and eat it too. When I met my wife, we started talking, I was more beta. She had 2 kids, was 29 years old. I was 33 with 3 kids. I had some alpha as well. I think humans are not built for long term monogamy but short term, and mid-term flings. I think women are built to seek out the "high value male" who will provide strong offspring but once they've had that child, or a couple of kids, there is no more need for that specific man. I think that's why attraction is so fleeting. As long as a woman has A man of some sort in her life, the fact he's the father or not doesn't matter. And that's why they don't tend to bond with the man as a human being but see him as a resource. If that resource dries up in some way its in her best interest to find another.
