I wouldn't ask for a prenuptial agreement for the fact that I live in Texas, and Texas says what you had before the marriage remains YOURS. I have no problem giving her half of everything we created together, I think she deserves that, if we created it together, she is entitled to at least half of that. But what I had before we got married??? That is MINE!! Unless I decide to give some of that to her (and its possible that I would). But I consider a marriage a life long commitment, if she came into this marriage, just looking for what she could gain financially, then I'll deny her EVERYTHING!!!
Man, a prenup is just a contract to protect interests, and you should protect it. Nobody get married thinking they are going to get a divorce, but the reality is relantionships fade away, with or without the fault of any part. So, make a prenup that is consensual, or if you both dont want it, just take the risk of a good marriage or this petty partner trying to leave you with nothing after he/she divorce your ass.
Prenups weren't as necessary just a few decades ago. Divorce used to be considered a last resort, and something to be wary of. Now divorce is just something they go do, no different than they'd go get their nails done, go shopping, or have an abortion. Feminism has tought women they don't need an ounce of humility anymore and men's lives are disposable, if it means them not getting 100% of what they want. Men are playing fast and loose with their entire future if they don't get a prenup. He's absolutely begging to get taken to the cleaners the moment she feels egreiged, real or perceived.

In US even if you have prenup you will still have to pay child support (which is based on your income) once you have children and woman usually gets children too, if you break up so doesn't matter in long run. Laws need to be changed in the West or decline in marriages and birthrate will continue. Its not fair that women get half the money and kids after they cheated or got bored with relationship. Women need to be held accountable in marriages.
No way if these girls were Rich they would be marrying these guys without prenups. Whoever's Rich should get the other one to sign a prenuptial agreement. If not move on real fast like.
Adultery definition; Voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a person who is not his or her spouse. Also, I agree, you never really know anyone. And so a prenuptial is a way to protest yourself. Also there could be language that reveals students debt.
I liked some of the points that you made, Irina:;) Men marry women unconditionally; Women marry men with/for conditions. A man does not care if a woman has a job, money, car house, etc. He only wants to be cared about, respected and have sex when he wants to. A woman will require the man to have a job, preferably a well paying job/business and potential to rise to a higher income, a decent vehicle, a home in a decent neighborhood, spends enough money on her, ect. Of course the long list of other requirements that women judge and base their desire for a man on is endless :D It is so obvious why the modern woman gets married, financial security... love will come later after she is secure about the finances. So, of course 9 out of 10 women do not want to sign a prenup because they are marrying for security, not because they are in love. Of course she wants the man to be madly in love with her enough to not care about a prenup, so she can walk away with the 'bag' later. After her lust wears off, and a couple of those years she tries to hang on for those "feelings" to come back, she will start looking for someone else. She has nothing to lose; She walks away with at least 1/2 his money, the house a car, alimoney, and if kids are involved, she gets those as well plus "child support". Oh... Women have married for security and status since the beginning of time. Laws in west need to change, women and men need to be treated equally in court. If women really are for equality between men and women (and not just when it benefits then), then marriage/divorce laws need to change.

I don´t think to have an accident but I have car insurance, I don´t think my home will be on fire but I have house insurance, I don´t expect to die on the job but I have life insurance, I don´t expect to get sick tomorrow but I have health insurance and if I go to another country it is expected to have travel insurance... what´s the problem to have marriage insurance?

Adultery is having an Affair. If a Prenup is even thought of in a Relationship, this is a Clear Sign to Me Not to Marry that Person. Real Love doesn't even Consider a Prenup or Your just Rolling the Dice with the Person You said " I do " to at the Alter. It should just be Law, what We made Together is Split during a Divorce. I agree... However, the way marriage used to be; Both were young, a new life together was exciting, niether had anything to their name, and yet, they both knew they would be ok because they loved each other. Men are still basically the same throughout time. Women, as a group, change what matters to them every 10 years (there are studies). We happen to live in the cycle of all that matters to most women is Money; and now men care more about money, more than they do about getting a woman. Basically, females won and got their way, and the western world is screwed :D
What if the guy made his money before he met his future wife? I agree with you to some point when ppl are married young, like in their 20s. Roll of the dice. But there are a lot of gold diggers out there and law doesn't protect men from these women. If a women cheats in a marriage, she shouldn't get half and kids, not fair. Yet happens all the time. That is what we are talking about here.
