Wonder Steam Trains (Pty) Ltd - light-up of class 15CA No.2850 & Valentine's Day Picnic on the 12th and 13th of February 2022.
In December of 2021, WST won the tender of a 15 year concession on locomotives, rolling stock and the railway network at Hermanstad. Whilst still waiting for various other documents, WST will soon be taking to the mainline with their recently restored locomotives! Namely, Class 15CA No.2850, Class 15F No.3117, and Class 19D No.3343.
On the weekend of the 12th and 13th of February 2022, WST hosted a Valentine's Day Picnic at their premises, with class 15CA No.2850 in steam. We follow the light up in the first half of the video.
On Sunday the 13th, No.2850 did a bit of shunting - attaching the class 19D and 15F's to their respective tenders.
