It's so great to see Wonder Woman demonstrate using her superstrength WITHOUT using her lasso as a tool to do so. This show made people think the strength was in the lasso and not Diana's muscles because she often seems so powerless unless she was using the lasso.
In my video called Sarima and The River of Doom a six year old girl named Winona does Wonder Woman’s role, while Sarima does Rima’s role, the tribesmen they encounter play the Javiro’s roles and her parents are researchers that play the geologists in the video
I agree. And in the 1970s television show, Wonder Woman only retained her powers if he wore her 'magic belt'. Completely unlike the original comics version of Wonder Woman where she had natural superhuman strength, speed, and stamina that she regularly displayed.
How I first recall seeing this very cartoon from The Super Friends Hour when it first came out in the 1977-1978 TV Season. It's also when I was first acquainted with this character of Rima.
Jayna was voiced by Louise Williams (1977-1983), Melendy Britt as Batgirl, Mera by Diane Maddox (1968), Hawkgirl by Janet Waldo, Mary Marvel by Dawn Jeffory and Rima by Kathy Garver. Shannon Farnon who did Wonder Woman's voice did some fill ins for the voices of some of these heroines on the Super Friends TV show such as Rima and Hawkgirl.
@@kaelinbrown9817, that's the short episode, where Batman, Robin and Rima pursued a couple of escaped teens, who also stole a forestry truck. The teens were captured, after a car chase. Even though the teens rescued the trapped family in the forest fire, they still faced charges of escape and grand theft auto. One instance, after the wildfire caused a bridge to collapse, Rima commanded a grizzly bear to push over a couple of tall pine trees as a makeshift bridge for the Batmobile to cross and continue the pursuit of the escaped teens!!!
