I’m here from family guy. I was born in 1996 when all the spongebobs and power puff girls and nicktoons shows started running rampant. As well as Cartoon Network. Even though this Apache stuff was probably still airing on tv around the time I was born I’ve never ever seen it. Family guy referenced it like twice so I decided to look it up. The way they exaggerate the way he says “ee nay chuck” is hilarious.
Hello, Voz do Gibi here. In my opinion, what really was creepy in the episode with the swamp hag was the Evil being and the zombies, mainly when they attacking the Hall of Doom. I think the Frankenstein supermonster could be added to this mashup, although the episode was more centered in superheroism than supernatural. I can't remember that episode with the vampire queen, what is the name...?
Thanks for posting this intro compilation!! Unlike the other sets, this one includes the 1980 version. The SuperFriends was and is my number one all time favorite animated series for life. I even wrote a pair of books on Amazon called The Ultimate SuperFriends Companion. Again, great work!! 👍👍😃😃
Thank you. I am a bit of an historian and love things the way they were. I love your books. They are very informative and can tell they are a work of passion.
0:58 Hello. Voz do Gibi here. Interesting. So the English language uses "sky" with the same meaning as "heaven". Here in Brazil we use "céu " in both cases, but first letter is capitalized with heaven.
You are mistaken, Luthor is literally referring to the sky in that scene, not to heaven. The 'Hall of Justice' he's referring to is a satellite in orbit around Earth, a.k.a. it's in the sky. Unlike céu (or the Italian 'cielo'), the words sky and heaven are definitely separate in English and you cannot use the same word to refer to both concepts.
