The Wonderful World of Animation nighttime show returned last night at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! I was there to film the show for you all. The entire video was filmed and is available to view in 5K resolution! Half way into the video, someone drilled me with their backpack lol, so that is why the video cuts for a second. This was filmed on August 1st 2021 at 9pm

The whole thing made me break down and cry. Was like watching my whole life pass me by. All my memories attached to these movies. I was born in 1982. But 12:48 had me sobbing like a baby. Appreciative that I get to experience new memories with my two boys and my own family now.

It is nice overall! I really liked the Disney Movie Magic one more though. That was originally supposed to return in March 2020, but never happened since the parks closed due to the pandemic. I was disappointed that it didn’t return now

This is an awesome nighttime spectacular‼️🎆 Looking forward to see it the next time I’m at DisneyWorld in the future since I haven’t been there since July 2018!! You got a great view! How did you get a spot like this? What time did you arrive at the area to find your spot before the show began? I’m thinking about recording the whole thing. Is the great spot to record since you got all the screens, projections & fireworks?

I managed to see Luca and Alberto near the end. that's my favorite Pixar movie now that seems to be overshadowed by Turning Red, which while also is a great picture movie is just not my number one favorite right now

Great job, 4! 💜Did you stalk your perch for a while? You got all 3 screens perfectly!, but I admittedly held my breath when the "proverbial person on shoulders" occurred when the show started.🤣 I saw prior on the web a video from a site that panned the screens so poorly from screen to sky they should be embarrassed. (hope people find yours now!🥰!)

Also, could you please film a video of the monorail getting on the Magic Kingdom line to the TTC and then getting off and getting on the Epcot line to Epcot? Then, can you do another video getting on the monorail at Epcot, getting off at the TTC, and getting back on at the TTC to the Magic Kingdom. Thank you

I hope this trend doesn't last long, of using screens on rides instead of physical props and experiences, and using projections instead of lighting and fireworks.

I agree for sure. This show in particular was always something small to enjoy as you waited for the Star Wars Fireworks at the park. They are just bringing things back slowly, so I expect things like Fantasmic and the Star Wars fireworks(or maybe even a new show) to return eventually

Well I know they use the projections mainly for Hollywood studios since it is closer to animal kingdom. If the fireworks were too loud, it could spook the animals. Epcot and Magic Kingdom have the larger shows when it comes to fireworks since they are a little bit further from animal kingdom.

There has been no announcement on that, but Disney has said that the previous Disney Movie Magic show is returning in November

Saw this is person on Thanksgiving, and it was completely underwhelming. Pyrotechnics were practically non-existent. Absolutely unacceptable for the 50th Anniversary Celebration, especially when they have the Fantasmic amphitheater in the same park. Major Thumbs down for this show 👎

This show actually isn’t for the 50th anniversary. It debuted for the 30th anniversary of Hollywood Studios in 2019. I agree that Fantasmic should have been back by now though. At least we now know that it will return in 2022

Hollywood studios normally have smaller shows compared to Epcot and Magic since it’s closer to animal kingdom. If enchantment or harmonious took place in Hollywood studios, it would be too close to animal kingdom and spook the animals (at least that’s what I read somewhere)
