Beautiful how the wood elves come out of the woods from all directions and converge into the center.

I always take Trueflight arrows for my Glade Guard... I agree that S3 makes it sound meh, but with armour piercing it basically means 30" range hitting on 3+... it makes chaff units disappear and keeps chipping away at other units. Those hits tend to stack up, because there are usually more immediate threats for your opponent to worry about. I find hagbane more useful on stuff like Glade Riders - to go take care of warmachines etc. I'm also on the fence on BSB, because you tend to spread out a lot as WE, which makes BSB less useful (unless you're going for the big block of Eternal Guard). But then again sometimes they just save you because of all those small units prone to taking panic tests. I love the Treeman, he's a perfect anvil to the Wild Riders charge. I never actually tried an Ancient, but then again I usually run my level 4 as Life so I always found it hard to motivate that lord slot... Looking forward to you getting those Hawk Riders up! I never leave home without them, they have some amazing utility. I'd also look into trying a Waystalker - it's a pretty cheap hero that can do some useful stuff! Especially if you go Waywatchers, I put a Enchanted Shield on mine and he'll do a good job of keeping that expensive unit pretty safe for a while. One thing that's good to remember is that you get +1 to cast when standing in a wood, so that's something to consider when deploying. If you don't want your level 4 to be static, putting it on a unicorn is also amazing.

Please please please remove about 25 percent of the terrain. Its meant to be a game of blocks of infantry flanking not Age of Sigmar!!!! Otherwise this series is amazing.

I’m pretty sure that a unit can’t overrun a crumbling enemy unit. As the overrun rule states that you have to kill the enemy in combat. The crumbling is after the combat is over. This might be a interpretation thing tho. Don’t know if this is addressed in any FAQ or Errata.

Appreciate Luka going for the most "fun" or cinematic move even if those charging the ghouls was the most competitive. Also if you take the big tree don't you just auto lose him to a flamming cannon?

Lucca, if I recall, Lizardmen were tasked by the Old Ones with killing all the beasts and monsters in the Warhammer world that didn't fit their vision so it's possible that those bones are from one such creature. Check them for the marks of Carnasour teeth!

a tactic at the 24min mark to have got the varghulf in the treemans flank Luka could of declared a charge with the crypt horrors on the wild riders looks like it would be a long bomb but still legal charge and then you could declare a charge by the varghulf as it would be considered legal, even with a failed crypt horror charge a couple of inches is all that was needed

Josh the general mage build I like to use is Book of Ashur with Talisman Endurance and on an elven steed bunkered in Sisters of the Thorn. +6 to cast in a forest. Sisters get +3 for Anraheir and Shield of Thorns.

Wood Elves again?? Love it!! Josh, how do you feel about the way the Wood Elves play? Also narratively the Wood Elves go on a Wild Hunt every summer and they get Dark Elf levels of aggressive. As good a reason as any to be out of Athel Loren and fighting. I'd say with how that ancient played it is definitely an appropriate narrative reason 😂

HOLD UP! OBJECTION! Correct me if I'm wrong, but Josh's Fortitude is 7, not 5. 2000 points + BSB + General + Glade riders x2 = (2+1+2+ 2) = 7 So with the death of the tree bro and the two Glade riders, it's down to 3, not 2! That game should not have ended! Luka would have crumbled and died!

The Master Necromancer should have challenged the Treelord Ancient. That way he could not 'Thunderstomp' the unit. He would have lost combat due to the Zombies' musician.

I'm fairly sure Red Fury is a new attack for every model killed not wound caused.

I really do not get why you guys ALWAYS buy a Talisman of Preservation for your casters. It is just a waste of points, it does not help against miscasts in a meaningful way, and the 4+ ward save is not going to save your wizard if he is caught in close combat. I just don't get it, just get a few more guys in your units, would be so much better. Am still interested in the game though! ;)
