Demonstration of wood surface preparation with the IBIX 9 low pressure blasting system. In this video, GMA Garnet 200 mesh was used to remove old paint layers at the low pressure of 40 psi. www.IBIXUSA.com
I have the IBIX9-H2O and its a great tool, but you do need a powerfull compressor ( 200L/min) at 7 Bar and most of all an airdryer else you will run into big issues with condensation and blockage. Never re-use the garnet, unless you can filter it. Else you will have blockage . I would move my car out of the way...
Hi, I'm looking to start doing some wood (furniture) restoration. Can you please share what equipment your using to accomplish such a nice job Thank you
Hey Ben, thank you for your inquiry. Sorry we missed your comment before. If you are still interested in some information on what systems are best for wood and delicate blasting, please reach out to Rachel.david@ibixusa.com. Thank You!
@IBIX what is the model number for this exact sandblasting machine and what is the product in the paper bag that he is using to stripping the chair? I could not understand what he said in the video.
Good Morning, In this video, we are using our Multi-Media Blasting system (Pro-9) which is the second smallest system we sell. This system will blast up to 55 Sq. Ft/ Hour. The media he using in the video is GMA Garnet which is a natural mineral, and he is using 200 Mesh which is our Fine Mesh. If you need to go finer, we can use up to a 350 mesh garnet. Thank you,
Amico statunitense degli Stati Uniti … per un attimo ho pensato che il camion dietro di te , fosse il compressore che facesse funzionare l’oggetto……😎😎🎃
Hey JR! All of our blasting systems are Multi Media blasting systems. If you prefer using Baking soda, our machines can use garnet, Sodium Bicarbonate, Crushed Glass, Crushed Walnuts and Calcium Carbonate.
Hey Danny! To really benefit from our machines, you need to meet the minimum CFM requirements, which for this machine is 17 CFM. Also, we recommend using a continuous flow air compressor for maximum continuous output. If you need more information, please contact us at 727.322.4611.
Hi Andrea! We are located in Largo, Florida. You can check out more information about our systems at ibixusa.com or call us at 727-322-4611. We look forward to hearing from you!
Stefan, Please email Kyle.gilbert@ibixusa.com or call him at 727-776-4686. He will be able to send you a link or explain to you what compressor is needed. Thank you,
We the size nozzle we were using and the accuracy, low pressure and fine mesh, we do not need to cover the leather. We do not need to worry about damaging the leather because we are being extremely delicate and precise.
Safe for the person that is using it? How can you tell it is safe when blasting antique furniture, especially painted that might contain lead. Think being a professional they would advise on best practice which is proper PPE and recommend covering areas that should not be sanded by accident. Anyhow, great tech..
Hi thank you for your inquiry! We abide by OSHA and yes, we actually provide the proper PPE included with every system purchase. Some of our Demo videos will state it in the beginning as well! Always recommended to wear safety glasses, gloves, and face mask when working with old paint structures, ETC.
How are you going to show this and not have a single price listed anywhere on your website. I own a painting company and was going to purchase this machine but if I need to jump through hoops and send emails and make phone calls to get a price on the machine. I’ll go with your competition. Ridiculous
They may have different models and options and they want to be sure they are quoting exactly what you need before just throwing out a number...Just a thought I had... But heck, I could be wrong
Hey Christian, to get an exact price for the machine you are looking for or are interested in learning which system works for you, Please Contact us at 727.322.4611. Once you call us, we can figure out which system or package works for you, and send you a quote within the hour after. No hoops to jump through. Talk to you soon.
Yea exactly.... the consumer does not care much for the price if it’s exactly what he needs it for they will pay upfront..... of course not an over exaggeration of high price but if it falls with competitors price range they will buy it. Your machines seems unique in more capabilities of medium..... you should really post your prices instead of keeping potential buyers in mystery with anger.
May I ask what seems expensive? Media is very cost effective, and these systems used by a standard contractor makes ROI in 2-5 jobs. It's a great investment for a hands-on worker.
