Woodturning Lignum Vitas Lidded Box
In this video I turned a lidded box from a turn of the century Bocce ball. I'm pretty sure the inlayed pieces are Ivory. Lignum vitae is one of the hardest wood in the world I ended up using Easy Wood negative rake cutter to shape it. I sanded and finish the box with Doctor's Woodshop Walnut finish.

Hi my name is Carl Jacobson,
I started woodworking with my grandfather as a young boy. I continued woodworking through high school, and started woodturning after seeing a turned project in a friends shop. Shortly after RU-vid started, I was looking for a howto video for duck calls, with no results I decided to make my own video. Some of my fondest memories are working with my grandfather in his wood shop. Being able to share our passion for woodworking, ties it all together.
