In this video I'll be showing you how you can easily make a jig to make accurate and repetitive thin strips on the table saw.
For me this is also the start to make my own veneer.
Enjoy!

I make a jig for ripping thin strips that doesn’t require that you move your fence between cuts, so if you still have the “Easiest Thin Rip Jig” belt, I’ll be taking it, thank you very much. ;-) Thanks for sharing, Scott

Nicely done. Simple and efective. Thanks for sharing. Btw, I'd like a square like that, would you mind sharing a link to it? Thanks again
@AtelierQube
@AtelierQube 2 года назад
More then welcome :) The square is actually a machinist square. They come in different sizes and are pretty common. Let me know where you live if you want a supplier near you ;)

Very cool jig. This type of jig apparently would work better for the DeWalt table saws. The commercial versions from what I have seen are too short to work in the runner slots. Cheaper too! Thanks for your excellent explanation.

Very cool 😎! Nice variation on the thin strip guide. Pretty positive as it takes ALL the guessing away from the miter slot adjustment style. Kudos 👍👌!!!! ( You're not going to mind if use this design.. on my table saw..😁🤣🤣🤣👍!!)

Glad you liked it! :) The square is a machinist square. You can get it at most places or trough amazon, depending on where you live.

What make of table saw do you have
@AtelierQube

It’s a Dewalt. I believe it’s the DeWalt DWE7492, it came with a handy base on wheels.

Good idea.. your microphone needs to be better, the sound is not good enough to match the quality of your video but good content.

Thanks for the constructive feedback. I’ve been working on improving my videos. And buying a microphone was one of those things. Still learning a ton about video editing and especially audio editing but progress is progress 😁 I’ll be happy to see you in my comments in a year or so 😉
