Keep saying it.......Best place on earth! First came here in 66 ( after the world cup) and been coming ever since. Now a grandfather but this place hasn't changed. Thanks for sharing
I am fortunate to have been to Woolacombe quite a few times throughout my life. Spending holidays in 'The Castle' as a child with my parents and siblings, crabbing and rock climbing down on 'shell beach'. Also as an adult, I have spent time here with my children and now grandchildren. My daughter lives in beautiful North Devon and I will be back staying in Woolacombe in September, as she and her partner are getting married! I never fail to be mesmerised by the absolutely stunning views. Thanks for this Neil and I am happy you got to visit here. 🙂
Wow, this is stunning! Went to Woolacombe once for a weekend, torrential rain all the time we were there (it was out of the main season) and we came home early, so nice to see how it looks in the nice weather. We never even made it to the beach last time we were there, so it's nice to see it in all its glory! I think this deserves a second visit by us.
Hello Neil, we had a cottage in Woolacombe for a fortnight in May last year. It was a wonderful holiday in this beautiful landscape. It is a very good base from which to explore the area. We did a lot of walking and were totally fascinated by this side of Devon. We normally go to Cornwall. In the next weeks war are lucky enough to be travelling there again:). You live in a beautiful place on earth and it's lovely that you appreciate it so much, Neil:). Thank you for your fantastic work and for giving me a few minutes of holiday memories. Take care. Have a nice week. Gabi:)
Thanks Neil memories of many moons ago when our boys were little so over 25 years ago, used to spend a lot of time around there altho we were in the next bay Croyde which is a lovely little village and you also get some amazing sunsets down there ❤
This video got me quite teary-eyed 😢... bringing back memories of my stay exactly two yrs ago. It was a very time-consuming & expensive journey to get there (by public transport) from Cambridge, but the incredible views were worth all the effort... beautiful 😍 I was staying at a hotel on the hill overlooking Morte Point & the beach. I could never get bored of waking up to that view in the morns & having a coffee on my pvt balcony. I even purchased a 6 ft long canvas print of Woolacombe beach at sunset from the tourist centre, without any thought of how I was going to get it back to Cambridge intact! I got some funny looks on the trains back! Thank you for posting this & hope you had an amazing time 😎👍
Wow, what a beautiful place. Thankyou for filming it. I am housebound with M.E. So not able to travel. But watching this has been wonderful. Thank you sooo much. God Bless
Great to see some more familiar scenery, I've visited that beach many times even occasionally walking from my old hometown of Ilfracombe. Barricane beach was the one my parents and siblings would choose when I was young. Evenings on Woolacombe beach after most of the tourists had left for the day and watching the sunsets was just magical. Fond memories from a few decades ago. Another nice video.
Watching you at Woolacombe tonight with my Daughter.Lovely place! ,also Westward Ho! .Love those houses at Woolacoombe😊.PS, We love the chat on screen.😊
