to be fair, xehanort only needed the one body, which is pretty simple as far as plans go. its only because the good guys kept wrecking his body and resulting replacements that the need for several bodies simultaneously arose, and thus the convoluted plan of 13 xehanorts
3 Dante was too irresponsible to realise that he should pick up every weapon he comes across, while the wild broke boomer is wise enough to want it all for his own sake.
I like the brief serious moment Dante has when he asks Trish if she's okay, just a quick second of "no but seriously are you good?" Then back to Wahoo pizza time
I really did like in the midst of all of this he was genuinely concerned there. Makes it clear that underneath all of the pizza loving, combo styling and demon awakening, Dante still has a heart
The difference between V and Urizen is the same as Red bull and Monster. One gives you ultimate power, the other one slowly kills your insides, but both are driven by MOTIVATION.
When V realized how much of a scumbag he was as Vergil "Foolishness, Me. Foolishness..." Also to be fair he literally says the "I need more power" line in taunts, just with "strength" instead.

So Woolie noticed that Trish is strong enough to lift and use Sparda last episode. Demon strength that was shown in DMC 1 when she threw a motorcycle at Dante. And what happens at 7:40 ? Hmmmmmmmmmm
He literally made one of the greatest video games. The attention to detail and the animations when you do attacks,it's too much. I expected this from KH3 but DMC, expectations BLOWN!
I don’t think they noticed that V didn’t start with tattoos, they formed in later (probably a physical manifestation of his remaining demonic power as they fade away when he calls nightmare)
@@baciu14 nah,He still has tatoos with Shadow and Griffin out,and no tatoos at all when all 3 are out,Nightmare is the majority of the tatoos and the inked hair,due to the enormous difference in power he has to the other two
@@simran789654 I guess since dante looks at the picture it is suppose to show vergil going so far as to abandon the love of his family to achieve more power while Dante wanted to learn more from his family to get stronger
@@lylatfox4 I thought the same thing. Both of them are after Demonic powers of a sort, but Dante does it for his family (both so he can take care of Vergil, and protect Nero, Lady and Trish), while Vergil throws his familial bonds away in his pursuit of power. It's one of many delightful little things that really helps make Devil May Cry 5 be a real treat!

According to Nico in Dante's description in her reports the reason that Dante survived for the entire month without food or water is because the tree had been feeding him energy and secretly making him stronger. So basically Dante got a power boost from the tree during his little Power-nap.

KeroKaminaX a heartless is a persons heart corrupted by darkness, a nobody is the mind, soul and body of the person whose heart was corrupted by darkness and separated to become a heartless, only instead of the body, mind and soul dissipating due to losing the life energy of their heart, they became a nobody. however a nobody can only form if the original, whole person's will is strong enough, with the strength of said will denoting how humanoid/strong the resulting nobody is. this is why org 13 members still look fully human while the basic unit nobodies look like malnourished weirdo wearing white zipper suits. feel free to ignore this whole tirade, just felt like rambling for a bit.

On the subject of Dante’s biology I believe there was something about the qliphoth pouring blood into him for the month he was out like it did with urizen(to a lesser extent at least)
I like that V's black hair and tattoos seem to represent the lingering power/corruption he had as Nelo Angelo. Since I imagine all of Spardas power went to Urizen.

i really hope when Trish is inevitably playable in bloody palace (and supposedly a DLC thats called ladies night) she has Alistor. she was around when he sold it, so probs knows where it went. it's a lightning sword, she's a lightning gal. it just works.
@@Prnnce Alastor is Alastor, Cavaliere is Cavaliere. All Devil Arms sans Sparda, Yamato, and Rebellion (and other) are exactly named after the demon they're sundered or relinquished from. Cavaliere just got the lightning power from Trish, as she was the conduit/catalyst of the boss, same as Artemis.
Like I think the reason Dante doesnt use the Kalina Ann to its fullest Potential because he'd break it, he did break guns that were not specially made for him and he still has to give it back to Lady
Not only did Woolie guess the general concept, he gave very specific, precise details. The only thing missing was where Virgil did it - though if asked, I'm sure he'd guess it was in front of the good ol' Sparda family photo. If Pat's stand is Crazy Talk, Woolie's is Bizarre Circumstance - a stand that can see the future with 100% accuracy, but only when fighting games or Japanese culture are involved. It explains why Woolie is always wearing a pin or a reference to something weeabo-like. It allows him to see his own future and plan accordingly.
0:58 I really thought those were Dreamrunners. I was soooooo hyped when I saw them the first time. But at the very least I do think it's cool they kept some elements of certain demon designs from the reboot.

The idea that Vergil minus his tragic backstory just becomes a quiet, reasonably kind goth kid who likes poetry is... really sweet honestly. And also the fact that he's finally revealing all to, out of all characters, Trish... aww.
V's backstory supports the idea of Sparda being able to obtained a human form through Yamato. His demonic power and form were used to sealed the demon realm and fused with Force Edge/Sword of Sparda. Sparda's sudden disappearance in which he couldn't protect Eva and his twin sons probably due to his decayed body and he eventually died.
@@Ketsuekisan Well, he's a full fledge demon and probably the strongest one. My guess is that he was able to live long due to his demonic form being sealed away. It's the opposite of Urizen and V, Urizen got stronger through sheer force while V got weaker because of it. They're like affecting each other.
It's so awesome that the first thing Trish does in DMC1 is to crash into Dante with a bike, and throwing at him, and then she does it again in this game! Didn't click with Woolie there, but they hint at her so much during that fight and almost nobody caught it on their first playthrough!
I called it during the fight, but only because the game had already shown what Urizen did to Lady. If not for that precedent, I'd have been making the same guesses Woolie did, or assumed they met in the prequel book.
crazy talk activated right when this video starts. You CAN parry with V's cane. You can even parry the behemoth when he's rampaging around. My favorite thing to do is start reading poetry, and wait until the last moment while it's charging at me and then -POW- with the cane. Makes it look like V's pissed that it's interrupting his poetry reading.
Dante was always more responsible than his older brother. Vergil is responsible for the Temen Ni Gru, got himself brainwashed by a dark lord, had a kid because he didn’t use protection, and now all this shit. 2 is the only game where Vergil didn’t fuck up something that Dante had to fix.
Vergil split himself in 2. V is his Heartless because, like Ansem, he uses his familiars like the guardian. Urizen is Xemnas because his first two boss fights are exactly like Armored Xemnas
