Gaming keyboard of the year 🙀. The team is thrilled with your opinion, that you took the time, and did not rush to a conclusion. The 60HE has a lot to offer and increasingly more over time. It's definitely daunting to cover it all, but you hit the important points. The glacier keycaps was a awesome choice to exhibit both the features and the RGB effects. Btw, with the mixing effect, use (where arrows are bound) left, down, and right.
Would LOVE to see this tech used in a onehanded gamepad like the orbweaver or G13 gamepads. Not only are those products seemingly fading away with no current releases, but the advanced gaming tech with your keyboards would be perfect to add with a gamepad for those that already have full customized keyboards.
You need to cast 65% and 96% keyboards, but the 96% keyboard must be compact in the same layout as the Keychron K4. I bet it would be a best seller!!! 🙏
Looooove the reference to Optimum Tech there, that showcase of Apex movement with those switches was a great showcase. I ordered my 60HE 3 weeks ago, can't wait to get my hands on it.
i love that this keyboard came about at my peak interest in custom keyboards, now im perfectly fine with buying a prebuilt again, in fact its the only board i want right now
i got a wooting two he myself, its the best keyboard i have ever had... the custommer support is great they have assisted me very well just wished i could find some nice transparant iso layout norwergian keycaps :/ ( i wanted something in the crystal keycaps hyperx style)
Dude it just seems like a Perfekt Gaming Keyboard! Just a quick case swap and keycaps and its endgame for anyone that takes his games serius and is in to some custom boards! Love it
Been asking since I saw this board and keycaps from a couple vids ago. Thanks for sharing. Mines been on the way and now I’ll have the caps I want when it arrrives :)
Just a heads up, the Glorius coiled cable works on this board in Tachyon mode with zero issues even on full brightness lighting. Some cables require you to dim the lighting under 50% in Tachyon mode to work properly but the Glorious runs fast and zero issues whatsoever.
Me too. It's still the best one in the series of BF games. BC2 and BF3 are also up there. All of their latest efforts are failed. No one wants "woke" BF. We just want to kill other people in a game. They went from the tactical option, to attempting to take over some of CoD's people. I mean, CoD was in a completely different genre, in my opinion. Now, not so much. I likes having to move tactically and use my squad for support. Now, just more run and gun.
The Lekker Switches are factory lubed but not heavily as there was issues with excessive lube dripping on the Wooting Two Lekker Edition and even the early Wooting Two HE models.
This is wild. Hall effect not only is almost as fast as optical, but the possibility of changing actuation point per key and the Rapid Trigger functionality (meaning you don't have to reset the switch to be able to press ir again) means this is potentially orders or magnitude faster than optical keyboards, even low profile ones, without any of the disadvantages of low profile boards. Looking forward to it hitting the market. O hope they come up with a 75% or TKL version too. I see a full size on their website, but no in-betweens.
It'd be better if this board came with screw in stabs instead of plate mounted stabs, either way it still seems like a great keyboard with useful features there's just some small things that'd make it even better
well this answered one of my questions on another video. It looked cool but I picked up the air75 from nuphy, seeing a nuphy on your channel pushed my decision after seeing this a few times over. though the little strap you have is cool and wish I could get one for my nuphy. I like the case I got for my new keyboard.
actually struggling to decide if i wanna upgrade from my huntsman TE to this. I feel like .1 sounds nice but in actuality you'd have to be some kind of savant to even make use of it. 1.5 already feels overkill.
I've ordered the Wooting 60HE, and trying to get my hand on these caps. I've found out these are cherry profile. I've also found out for cherry profile caps, switches should be south facing because of some reason. Doesn't seem like Frank switched them around? Please help a confused noob.
The keyboard has “mod-tap” which gives you access to the arrow keys, go to 7:40 and watch. You legit have the arrows basically. Also, because the keyboard uses a standard form factor, you can actually put it in a custom case (I’m putting mine in a white case with white keycaps personally)
Cause I am rather blur. The Wooting 60 he is the same as the Wooting 2 he but the Wooting 60 he is a 60%, right? They are basically the same with the same functions or does the Wooting60 He has a few more functions?
The actuation thing is actually crazy also for typing... man I want this board now... I hated how it sounded though. I wonder if we can lube it and a batter case will improve the sound. I'm used to black ink v2s and gateron yellows (both lubed with 205g0)
A bit late but modding is actually very easy for this board. It’s possible to change the case and there’s lighter springs available on their store so I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to lube it at that point
where do i buy this keyboard and keycaps with yellow font and transparent with some black to it. and then what profile is this yellow cool looking theme. but hey is it possible to buy it with swedish fonts
Does it have on board memory? I have a gaming laptop and a pc. So if I switch from one to the other will it remember or will I have to download and set up for each
Do you think other companies will try to match the tech? I'm really interested in the adjustable key travel but all my stuff is Logitech G. I'd hope logitech tries to do their own version out of my selfish want to keep everything under one sw hub. lol
It’s a standard pcb so you can put it in a tofu 60 solid aluminum case. That’s pretty cool. Only issue I have is you can’t customize the plate type. I have a brass plate in my tofu60 build that I love and unfortunately this can’t take it.
angry miao keycaps are cherry profile and the switches are in the north facing configuration. does this mean the lekker switches have no interference with cherry keycaps? or is it unique to those angry miao keycaps
i think optimum tech covered this. IIRC they do have inteference, but because they are contactless you can just put them in the south-facing configuration without any issue
@@oatmilk9918 sorry i realised i worded my initial comment badly. what I meant was that in frank's video he left the switches in north facing orientation while using cherry profile switches. optimum tech did the same. but neither commented on this
Their Mod-Tap function (covered at 7:39) could make good use for menu, ability, and action keys. Like Gliese said, Analog movement on a keyboard is also a possibility. While the Rapid Trigger and Tachyon Mode don't have much function (since 3rd person games don't need that type of reaction in general), they're still a bonus I guess.
I’m new to pc gaming, which type of keycaps go with this keyboard?? Ik keycaps aren’t “1 size fits all” so I’m wondering which ones do i need to be looking for
Frank: This is not a video reviewing this device since this video could be 30 mins long Frank blind fan: Best review ever that is what I love your videos
We're so close to ditching the MX-style housing. With no need to house a leaf, Gateron doesn't really need to follow the standard Cherry MX housing anymore since the actuation mechanism is all in the stem.
i got the apex pro mini wireless new for 150,couldnt wait for wooting as i will be moving, so hopefully what i paid is worth it, but thee build quality it questionable as mine is a little creaky
Hi! do you think it's possible to switch the spring from tbose lekker switches with a lighter spring from a switch that has also 4 mm total travel?😅 I now it's wired, but i really want a light fell (around 30g)
@@RylHango yes, i know now! but i think they are still hard for me...😅 i curently use gateron clear switches which are very light, aprox 20-40g, and the lighter springs they are offering are 30-50g, so...
I'm hoping that other optical keyboard manufacturers will implement similar features via a software update, if that is indeed possible... I asked roccat but they wouldn't comment on it!
Not possible sadly, as the hall effect switches are completely different, wider stem to fit a magnet inside, no contact pins and has a hall effect sensor on the PCB to detect how far away the magnet is which is how you can choose the actuation distance and the reset distance
I would love to see a comparison between this one and the new SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini Wireless. I think both of them are stellar keyboards and they deserve to be professionally analyzed face to face.
@@De4dSp0t I mean a large majority of top tier keyboards from big companies generally will cost you around $50 more. So it’s not really that expensive compared to the market competition. Sure you could get a gk61 or similar for like $30 or even less some places but most people aren’t really happy with those
I ordered mine almost a month ago said in stock ready to ship. Two weeks go by now say’s I missed the cutoff date even with expedited shipping. Now I have wait tell October a 3 month turnaround. I feel there are saying in stock to entice you to buy then weeks later just delay even more. Whatever excuse they use next I will cancel my order.
the keyboard has always been only available for preorder... the waiting time is long for sure, but it's worth the wait, no other keyboard can simply match and i'm sure you'll regret it if you cancel it, after this video there will be easily thousands of more people ordering this keyboard and by the time their keyboard arrives it would be november-december. You can easily resell it for a decent profit too, cancelling your order would be the dumbest thing ever.
