Mark’s opening word sequence currently: TRUTH KNOWN VIEWS FIRST FIXED MINDS OTHER THEIR HEARD ABOUT TAKEN CRIED YOUNG LARGE NORTH PLACE HOUSE THING GIRLS VISIT COMES WHICH STILL MIGHT PARTY WOMAN Theme: The 5-letter words from Jane Austen’s novel “Pride and Prejudice”, in order SHARE was skipped accidentally, so maybe that will be tomorrow’s word. If not: When a woman has five GROWN-up daughters, she ought to give over thinking of her own beauty.
@@thezanycat I didn’t work this out actually, other commenters did. I have no idea how they did it but googling the string of words until they get results seems likely
Turns out the only realistic options after VIGOR were FUROR, JUROR and TUTOR. So either of the first two was a good choice to confirm or eliminate the other -UROR.
YOUTH-ROUTE-TUMOR-TUTOR I wasted a guess with Route by putting the yellow OU in the exact same positions. Doh! But, in hindsight, it gave me the R, so I shouldn't beat myself up too much 😅
Got it in 5: ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ SCOPE ⬜🟨🟨⬜⬜ WOUND ⬜⬜🟨🟨🟩 FLOUR ⬜🟩⬜🟩🟩 RUMOR 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 TUTOR Noticed too late that flour was impossible as I already tried O in third place. Also, I did not think about tutor first, but I remembered that Americans are writing rumour without 'ou'. This gave me the crucial hint to solve in 5.
@@CrackingTheCryptic Thanks! I trusted you would catch it and did use SHARE again. For what it is worth it took me 5 so using it instead of woman yesterday did not help :-)
